Senior Yorkie Talker | I emailed and offered to take this little one. I am in Maryland. If he comes here, help with transport a little further south would be great. I love senior dogs. I would be happy to have him. |

Within hours, he was the love of my life. It's been nearly 7 years. He's now 16 and he adores me as I adore him. When she left my house, he stood by the door waiting for her for an hour or so and then I entertained him. And became the center of his attention. A few years ago, he was very sick and I thought he was going to die. He was at the vets while I was a work. I called her and told her and said that if she wanted to visit him at the vet (because I thought he was going to die), she was welcome. When she showed up, she said he jumped up...and when he realized she wasn't me...his enthusiasm faded. She said it was clear that I was his momma and it was me that he wanted. He is my best friend I can't imagine my life without him, though I know a time will come soon. My point is that there can be a very happy ending to these situations, as sad as they may seem.

What a beautiful story. I am thinking of rescue for my next dog. If I could be like you for some little baby in need, then it would be worth it. I hope the little NJ guy gets a good home.

Senior Yorkie Talker | I emailed several times and offered to take in the little one. Never received a response and the listing was ultimately removed. I hope a home was found locally. I love senior dogs.... |
