| 5 yr old Yorkie Female free to good home only I am looking for a great home for my small Yorkie, Angel. I am recently widowed mother of 3 that just cannot give her the attention she needs at this time. As a mother of 3 kids and 2 Yorkies, I have my hands full. Little Angel is quite the adventurous Yorkie, frankly she thinks she is a German Sheppard I believe. She likes to run, will dig her way out of any fence to go say hi to a passing dog or person. She always returns quickly but she just must say hello and see if her tiny 6 lb self can intimidate who or whatever she encounters, she has no fear. She also needs to be crated at night and each time that you leave the house or she will help herself to using your carpet as grass. With 3 kids to get out the door on any given day, I neglecting to do this and now my carpets are suffering as well. It is time to see if she can find a home with a Yorkie lover that will give her the love and attention she deserves as I am just getting increasingly frustrated. I will keep her if I cannot find the right home but I think this important enough that I need to see if I can find the right home and person to take her. She is spayed and up to date on all shots. She has had a history of hernias but seems to be for sometime now. Other then that she is a loving little dog who loves other dogs and kids but needs someone to try to control her bad habits a little better then I can at this time. If interested, please reply. I can provide pictures or any further info you may request. I do not want any money for her, just all the info I can get on where she is going before I decide to let her go. I did pay $1500 for her when she was a puppy. I hope the perfect person is out there somewhere. I will not ship her so interested parties must be near the Frederick, Md area. |

| There is no money being asked and there is no shipping so I'm not sure how this could be a scam. My concern is that we have at least one new comer interested in taking a free dog sight unseen. Is your girl spayed? Please be very careful. If you are truly interested in finding her a wonderful home please consider a good Yorkie rescue that can help correct her bad habits, and have her vetted and spayed and check out interested parties. They do a wonderful job in finding loving forever homes. Elaine |

| I don't think it is a scam. This woman is overwhelmed with the dog and is looking for a good home. I can see how that would happen given her situation, widowed, kids, and some nasty habits on the dog's part. The OP doesn't have the time to put into correcting these bad habits, and kudo's to her for admitting it. There's no shipping cost because she says she won't ship. I hope there is an udate from the OP letting us know she has found a good home.

Luv my 7 Furkids Donating Member | thats kind of how I was thinking. It just seems to me just to pop out from nowhere was odd. Same thing happens when someone talks about a breeder, good or bad someone who has never posted comes on telling you how wonderful or how bad they are. I guess Im just over cautious, you dont really know who your talking to on the computer. At least if they have multiple posts, you can get a feel for the kind of person they are. If its not I appologize, I just didnt want anyone jumping head first. |
