| Ladyjane...Thank you for posting! It is on our forum and we are working to find a foster for her. We are absolutely bursting at the seams right now. I have 5 fosters and my sister has 5 or 6. We have been having adoption events but things are not what we hoped for. We will do everything in our power to get her. I might even go get her today so that we could take her to our event tomorrow. We usually don't have much trouble adopting the cute girls! Thanks again! |

Wonderful....keep us posted! I also had sent an email...not sure if anyone got it....I meant to check on the website to see if I had it correct. It was from a while ago. Right now, our applications are way down! I have spoken with other rescues who are having the same issue. I am sure it is the economy. We are getting more and more owner surrenders and so many are in the shelters as well. I also have a lot more fosters than I would like (7) and cannot take any more in. Finding foster homes is very hard. People want to do it, but not everyone can. It is a huge job as you well know.

| If you are Linda, yes we got the email. I am off for my busy day of interview, getting things gathered up for our adoption event tomorrow and my trip to the Moore Animal Shelter. I will let you know this evening the results of my trip to the shelter. The shelters are the hardest for me because I want to take them all home with me! |

This just kills me. I want a sister for Buddy and hope it to be a rescue. I finally filled out, once again, an application to a rescue who has for the past year, sent me updates weekly on available pups. I heard back about three hrs. later telling me they had more pups than applications! So look elsewhere It has to be the right fix of course but give me a chance for heaven's sake. It seems that west coast and middle states, pups are in abundance but here in the NY area they don't want to know you!

Are you able to travel? If so, many groups do adopt out of state.

I work full time still, at least until next June. It's so important to me to be able to get a girl that will be a good match for our lives. I know there are so many in dire need of a loving home but it has to be within traveling distance. NY, NJ, CT. I'll keep looking. I'd be scared to death to have one sent without getting to know her first. Once I make the committment there is no going back as far as I'm concerned so I have to have hands on before to make sure we are a match for each other. If you hear of a little girl in my area, between 3-5yrs, 7-9lbs calm, spayed, loves children and pad trained at least, here I am. I know it sounds like a long list but I've been threw so much with Buddy in the past I now know what to look for. A normal Yorkie

You will find one! Just takes a while sometimes to find the right fit.

| OK...so we call to have the shelter hold this girl for us until I can get there to pick her up. Well the person that answers the phone says "Oh, I got rid of her yesterday!" WHAT....Got Rid of her?! That was rude! I just pray that cute little girl got a good home. |
