Donating YT 1000 Club Member | So, tonight I was rubbing Cassies belly (she was on her back) and one of the puppies came to check her out. I didnt have them down playing with each other, I was holding her the whole time. She started growling and snapping at my 2 babies. Baxter and Bayleigh didn't know what to think, they just jumped backwards. Anyway, just wondering how to introduce them. It is obvious just sitting them down to play is NOT going to work. Does this go away? I want them to be able to mingle and roam the house when they are potty trained etc. I am confused and don't know the best way to handle this one. When she started growling it made them jealous and they went to barking. I know she is in a new place. I am hoping this will be something that goes away in time. Suggestions?? |

| When you introduce new pups it is best to do it in a neutral area. I usually take them out to my backyard. If you are involved and holding one, it is going to cause problems. They normally work things out fairly quickly! They need time to sniff each other's butts...sounds gross, but it is true. That is the way they do things!

| Update: Cassie was transported by ManolosMom to Centerville (halfway point between Dallas and Houston) this morning where she met my son and daughter-in-law. They are bringing her to my home and should arrive shortly. I will take pics later on and post them! Thank you so much to BaxtersMommy and ManolosMom for all they have done to save this darling pupster! You are both angels!!

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | She is so beautiful. We worked on her all week with my pups, the last 2 days she was perfect and they were all playing. I am glad she got settled in OK. We already miss her. But, I know she will be well taken care of. Thanks Linda! |

| OMG, Linda she looks so happy. I'm going to miss her and I know Baxtesmomma is going to miss her too. What a sweetheart. I cant believe the Pound told Baxtersmomma, "You dont want her, she is sick with cancer." She is going to be just fine. Thanks for posting this and please keep us updated. Lissette |

Oh, thank you! I shudder to think where she might have ended up if not for you. She is a character....just walked in and made herself at home like she has always been here!

That is so sad. I have seen people say this about mammary tumors and the fact is that 50% of them are benign. Even if cancerous, if caught early, they can be treated successfully.
