What if some people on here were willing to help transport your boys to NM to Sonja and she met them part of the way? That might work. I don't live in that area but would be willing to chip in for gas or transportation.

I just informed my dh I'm going to start breeding biewers. Was going to ask him, then I thought, no, I'm not asking him, I'm telling him. I'm getting really brave in my old age.

Guys,

Thanks for the offers. I really do appreciate them but I'm really not interested in setting up a "train" to get my boys across the country. I have no doubt that Sonja would love and care for my boys but, frankly, four dogs seems like a lot to me and I'm afraid my guys would just get lost in the mix. That would be six dogs total and that definitely seems obsessive to me. I want to do what is right for my boys and I just don't feel this situation would be best for them.

Thanks again for all the offers and, Sonja, no insult intended. I'm sure you're a wonderful mom to your furry kids. I hope you all understand that I have my boys best interest in mind.

I agree with some posters that it would be a good idea to contact Yorkie rescue groups. We have 1 rescue, Maggie, that we got from there and we were very impressed how much they made sure that she got a good new forever home... Oh... I found this group by googling... I hear you! Fortunately it's my hubby that woke my love for Yorkies... I always loved and had dogs and I'm not sure if I could live with a partner that doesn't love dogs, MY dogs in particular...
