I had lunch with Ella and her mom today. Its almost been a year. She is absolutely adorable. I even think she remembered me. I cant get over how good she looked and I cant tell you how much it meant to me to see, hold and kiss her again. I took some cell phone pics of her

OMG~I am in tears! She is absolutely gorgeous! Look at her hair~its flowing!

I remember how she looked when you first brought her home. That poor little thing was about 5 minute from death, you were a mess, and we talked A LOT! You have become such a wonderful foster mom to so many others since you brought Ella home, helped so many pups and changed so many lives. You are an inspiration to all of us! for all that you have been able to accomplish in your rescue effort in the past year. You are one amazing woman!

I just had to post a before picture of Ella, when she had just had her eye removed and was still in the cage at the shelter. Even then I could tell that she was beautiful. But just LOOK at her NOW!!!

I know these babies are more than just looking like teddy bears, but my god the difference in the before and after. To think someone was going to pass up on Ella based on her looks.... WHAT THEY ARE MISSING NOW!!! Ella needed just a little TLC so that her inner beauty would shine on the outside. How blessed her new family must feel to have a true gem.

Jodi that was the nicest post Ive ever read....thank you. Im totally bawling right now. It was shocking to see her shelter pic again I havent looked at it for a while. I couldnt have made it without you, I will never forget what you and the other Yt members did for me and Ella. Sometimes when things are rough a few words of positivity and encouragemant go a long way. Ella came to our house basically wild never living in a home and very sick. It was a rough few months and a sobering view at the puppy mill situation and the damage done to the dogs used for breeding. I learned alot and my life changed after Ella. It was so touching how many of you reached out in so many ways to help her and me. Everyone that ever posted on this thread...THANK YOU

Your so right...I wish others could see that in every dog. I knew what she had inside and still seeing her today...I was blinded by her beauty even though I knew it was there.

Oh my God! It's hard to believe that is the little raggamuffin we were introduced to last year! She is so beautiful. She was so blessed that you took her in & gave her her new lease on life! And her new mom...well it's apparent that Little Ella has continued to be well loved. What a lucky little girl and how lucky were we to be a part of watching her blossom!

Amazing....I read every post from page 1 and this has been a very emotional and beautiful thread. There is nothing more moving than when the 'underdog' is given a chance to shine. Look at her!! Just amazing. Thank you to all of you wonderful ladies that looked out for Ella and gave her a chance.

I can not believe this group, you have me in tears. So many caring people and giving a voice for these helpless animals. It is so nice to see a happy ending to such a horrible abuse to such a lovely little yorkie.

I have bad news Ella had a stroke a couple of weeks ago and after seeing a couple specialists and giving her some time it doesnt look good. She has been getting worse and her mom has made the difficult decision to let her go to the rainbow bridge. Im so sad Ella didnt have much time to know how great life can be outside of the puppymill....but she is still one of the lucky ones...some never have any love...and Denise gave her the world and more...Ella was spoiled and loved beyond belief. She will be going in tomorrow...say a little prayer for our special baby.
