| wow...back to the OP's post.. i really hope they find a great home together!!! a side note.. just b/c someone can't afford to pay 700-1200 for a yorkie does not mean they cannot provide for their pet.. i couldn't afford to go out and buy another yorkie.. but i have 5 at home that i provide for just fine.

| I don't think that if someone doesn't want to pay $1,000 for a family pet or can't afford $1,000 isn't always broke or couldn't afford vet care etc. These rescues might not be for a lower income type family as they have medical issues. But there are rescues out there, that are already spayed/neutered, that would make wonderful pets for a family that won't or can't shell out $1,000+ for a dog and still could afford vet care. |

| What rescue are you referring to? I know of no yorkie rescue that charges $1,000 for a yorkie. Yorkies with rescue groups do not ALL have medical issues. All yorkies in reputable rescues are fully vetted including spay/neuter. No one said that people who cannot afford $1,000 for a yorkie cannot afford the yorkie, BUT it does warrant careful review; and they DO need to be educated about possible future costs in my opinion. | WOW! I was blessed to be able to afford my Bailey and her costs (whatever that might be) but I don't understand the big deal when it comes to people . wanting to get a "pet" from a "rescue". I guess I am missing something? I guess I am thinking no matter if someone can "afford" to actually buy a yorkie; or if they get one from a rescue as long as they can show it love and attention the way it is properly deserved than that within itself should be worth something? I guess I look at things differently but if one is able to take care of it (vet visits and it's needs); and show it love the way it deserves.....to me that is worth more than money itself; I am sure it seems that way to the precious lil furbabies as well . I guess I am new to whole thing but would think they are blessed if they are rescued; loved; and cared for. Thanks |

| They're soo sweet. I hope they get a great foster family who teaches them what a happy home is and how to be a dog and enjoy life. I'm sure someone on here will take them in and give them a wonderful forever home. Blessings to these two sweeties, Baron and his Mom

| Oh my goodness, what little sweetie pies! I'd love to have them, but I'm too far away and I'm afraid my husband might strangle me if I get another dog ![]() Is there something wrong w/ the one dog's eye or is she just blinking in that picture? Anyone know? I'm curious. I pray they find a wonderful home full of love.
