Where did the preg yorkie go I was reading all the post here last night...I wrote the lady with the preg yorkie and I think she had barn kittens too... Well she replied and you will not believe what her adoption fee is $2500...I suck at posting stuff but she said..."I still have her she was bred to a silver and beige male yorkie, all CKC registared. The price for her and her unborn babies is $2500. Email if you still want her." WOW that is some rehoming fee................

She was on Craigslist in GA....I spoke with her today, and recieved an e-mail from her this afternoon. She has found the pregnant female a home, but still has 3 week old pups from another breeding for sale...700.00 for female, 600.00 males.

That, my dears, is called the puppy milling adoption scam. This one is oh-so-typical. They'll say they found a pregnant dog whose father just so happens to be purebred or a purebred litter on the streets. As if that isn't fishy enough. Then, they'll post them as up for adoption as if they are a rescue (heck, sometimes they even make up a pseudo rescue), but the "adoption fee" will be hefty. Oh good God, no one buy from her.

That is the going price for most pregnant females. Someone near me recently sold one for a little over two thousand., AKC registered. I would never sell or even think about selling a poor little pregnant gal.

| I wouldn't either! Sending the poor little thing to a strange place to deliver her babies!
