That, my dears, is called the puppy milling adoption scam.
This one is oh-so-typical.
They'll say they found a pregnant dog whose father just so happens to be purebred or a purebred litter on the streets. As if that isn't fishy enough.
Then, they'll post them as up for adoption as if they are a rescue (heck, sometimes they even make up a pseudo rescue), but the "adoption fee" will be hefty.
