She and her husband are coming to visit Faith and Bo tomorrow. They sound like a lovely couple and with him being a vet, I know the kids would always have the care they need.

Well I am happy to report Tucker wagged his tail TWICE. Tucker was in his crate and once I came over to open the door he started wagging his tail. Yay!!! He is beginning to trust me a little bit each day. Boy does he love the grass. He was rolling his head around in it earlier today after I gave him another bath. However, if Tucker lies down he has to be near something like his food bowl, tree, his crate or something else, I guess it is a safety net for him. I introduced him to a treat today while he was laying down and I put it down by his nose and he ate it and then he came over to me for another one. He won't take one out of my hand just yet though. But in time he probably will! He is still scared and shakes alot, but I am sure in time he will come out of it!!! Alisha

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | Awwww......Alisha, this is the best news and with him showing this much improvement this early that's a very good sign. Maybe small steps to us but they are giant leaps for Tucker. He'll be eating out of your hand in no time!

Yesterday I think we had some major progress with Pearl! She's coming out of her shell! Twice she rolled over on her back and let us give her a belly rub! This was major for her because of all of her trust issues. Then she played with a toy. It was so funny! She would be playing with it and drop it and it would kinda bounce back to her and she would get scared and run away then slowly come back and do it again. She's starting to rough house with my dogs. All three of them were in a line running as fast as they could yapping at each other's tails. She's using the doggy door! She didn't go potty once in the house yesterday...well let me correct that...I didn't catch her going potty in the house! She's also picked up a bad habit from my dogs. She's jumping on the furniture. The couch is her new favorite spot. I don't mind though. That's what microfiber is for right??? haha I've attached a picture of her laying in Bella's bed. I'm glad we're finally getting use out of it cause Bella never cared for it very much.

All you ladies are just awsome. Those two precious babies are just adorable and the thought of them being PTS is sinfull. I''m in love with Tucker. He reminds me so much of Buddy and I love his dark coloring. I also think he has more Austrialian Terrier in him than silky. I am sure whoever they wind up with will be very lucky and greatfull to have them become part of the family. Congratulation again ladies on the rescue.

Yesterday, I had to give Tucker his heartworm med and I wrapped it in cheese to help him eat it. Well, I am happy to say he ended up eating the rest of the cheese out of my hand!!! He wouldn't take the dog treat out of my hand until this morning. He is still very skittish though even though he wags his tail so much when I get home from work or up in the morning. Even when he is eating out of my hand he trembles. This afternoon he attempted to play with a toy, but gave up. Oh does he love the outside. As soon as I open his crate door, he goes directly to the front door. I have attached some photos of him rolling around on the grass. He doesn't so much like my wood floor because it is so slick, so I had to put down a tarp to help him get some traction. haha. He started barking a couple of days ago and anytime I get out of sight he starts barking. I introduced him and Dax (a male yorkie, 5 years) a few days ago, but I think Tucker has been used for breeding so many times, that anytime he sees a dog he thinks he has to hump it. So my poor Dax gets mad and doesn't want to have anything to do with him. I have attached a few photos of Tucker. Overall I have seen major improvements in his behavior since I first got him. Yes, he is still scared when I go to pet him, but he is so happy to see me when I get home or get up in the morning.
