| Yorkie Lover Donating Member | I too think that Pearl may be a Silky.....she has a longer body and muzzle like a Silky. Thank you to all involved in saving Pearl and Tucker......you are all angels! If Pearl and Tucker are Silkies, you may find they are slower to warm up and trust that yorkies. That is just the nature of Silkies....but once they do begin to trust, they are very protective and loyal! The Silky I am handling right now is on the smaller side (about 8 pounds) and people assume she is a yorkie. Again....thank you to all involved in saving Pearl and Tucker!! PS....I hear through the grapevine that there were quite a few silkies that needed to be rescued from a puppymill in Missouri....as I know someone else that went up to pick up some Silkies.

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | Alisha and Katie thank you both for posting about Tucker and Pearl. It makes me feel so good to know they are being watched after with such love. I think after looking at Pearl again, that she is a silky. I thought at first her body looked a little long for a yorkie, but you never know. I'm sure they will both make devoted, lovable companions for some lucky family.

| Ahhhhh ... thank you, Kelly and Angi for the kind words! Anything we can do, we will. We are still new also and are so blessed to have Trish at our helm!! I have never met anyone who knows so much about rescue ... I learn something new every single day and we feel so privileged to share what we have learned with you all. We are all just in this together ... trying to save these babies, one at the time!! Keep up the good work!!
