| The one in central NY, add in paper now This is online for our local paper now, if anyone still wants to give it a try and see if you can get him. YORKIE MALE PUP 5 Months old with mild cerebral palsy FREE TO APPROVED HOME He is very healthy, and requires no Medicine or treatments....He should live a long happy life if he is with the right home. Yes He is Free to the right home.... Ok Here's the scoop....Yes I have a 5 month old gorgeous Yorkie (tail not docked) who needs an older home or couple to love him and care for him and overlook his Cerebral Palsy = He got stuck in the birth canal during birth. It is a non-progressive disorder, meaning the brain damage does not worsen, but secondary orthopedic or balance issues are obvious. He looks like he is kinda drunk. .So he isn't perfectly balanced. He is very playful and smart and can be a real handful, but he is a bit wobbley. Sometimes when he's tired he falls over and then picks himself up. He wobbles when he looks up at you just a bit. He can chase me all over, but he needs rugs or cloth to keep him from sliding. If he tries to walk on tile or hardwoods, he looks like he's on ice. He slipps and slides and his legs go out from under him. The vet says that his disorder is more of a bother to humans than him. So Due to my battle with my cancer, and the additional treatments like chemo I am facing, I really need to find him a new Mom or Dad or both. Here are the types of homes that I will approve....Must own your home...NO APARTMENT DWELLERS....THE PERFECT HOME WOULD BE....Retired Lady or Couple...Stay at Home Lady or couple( no Children)....Gay couple... Home Business couple or single....You get the picture....He needs to go where he is the star and the home is not apt to change every year or so. NO CATS! ABSOLUTELY NO KIDS! NO YOUNG FAMILIES! If you have a small dog it must be female. I'm sorry but he's too delicate to keep up with a rough dog, or get beat on by another male dog. He is not housebroke because going outside for these little yorkies in the winter is not realistic. You could paper or potty pad train him. He is very smart, but you have to be consistant. PLEASE UNDERSTAND....I AM NOT GIVING HIM TO ANYONE UNTIL THE RIGHT HOME COMES ALONG! Email me if you think you are the home he needs....Give me some details of your situation at my email address and I will get back to you. breath4cf@aol.com leave a phone number.

| Interesting ... I wrote her a long letter as I would have been able to offer him the perfect home (as her description outlines) and she never gave me the courtesy of a response. Luckily I've found a little girl who is coming to live with me in early March. It's strange that this woman posted a number of times with different supposed locations and different email addresses.

| I don't know why ... but I hope this guy finds a good home (if he exists) I'm not sure where the original thread is but if I recall correctly this woman advertised herself as being from two completely different areas of the country with two separate email addresses. This leads me to believe sometime strategic is being done.

| I think its odd too, especially the no replies. I'm hoping she is just being very very picky about where he goes and thats why. who knows

| Playing Devils Advocate Here... Just playing devils advocate here for a moment. Maybe she didn't reply because you are in Canada and she don't want to ship? Not saying she should not have atleast given you a courtesy reply but that may be the reason she blew your email off. Based on her ad - I'm pretty sure she is looking for someone local who will come and meet her and the pup? I think if it were a scam it would be a healthy pup she was listing - not many people will take on the responsibility of a pup with a health condition free or not. Plus she did say she is going through Chemo and I'm sure that is taking a big toll on her. Hopefully, this will work out well for both her and the pup. Elaine |
