Just playing devils advocate here for a moment. Maybe she didn't reply because you are in Canada and she don't want to ship? Not saying she should not have atleast given you a courtesy reply but that may be the reason she blew your email off. Based on her ad - I'm pretty sure she is looking for someone local who will come and meet her and the pup? I think if it were a scam it would be a healthy pup she was listing - not many people will take on the responsibility of a pup with a health condition free or not. Plus she did say she is going through Chemo and I'm sure that is taking a big toll on her. Hopefully, this will work out well for both her and the pup.
