Unfortunately, it has been my experience when we see items posted in Craigs list or the petfinder classified, money is the issue and not what is best for the dog.

Mybabyboxmax,,,I know you are probably the most upset as you were already picturing her in your home and heart.....it really annoys me when they ask no questions and it is only a matter of who gets to them first with the $$$. We got our Max, a King Chalres Cavalier Spaniel, and he was offered on the internet to the first person who sent her the $250, which we did immediately. $1500 later Max can walk and run like the wind once we got his legs fixed.

Chances are she ended up better than where she was because the few of us that talked to him did not have a real good feeling about this.

We tried and there is always the next one that "finds" us!

Was out all day on a transport but this was not the news I expected!

Did someone get Phyllis the number to this guy?

I had contacted her the other day when I saw her ad for her lost Yorkie and told her about this thread.... she just now got back in touch with me but the link I gave her to the origional ad is no longer working.... and I don't have his phone number... she is frantic that this may have been her girl!

I don't know how we'll track her down since she's been sold to that other person....

Phyllis, if you're reading this.... please be calm when you talk to him... if he did indeed have a stolen pup, he's not going to be offering up information on where she went.... just maybe say you were very interested and willing to pay a large price if you could have the number of the person he sold her to, maybe she'd be willing to sell her to you and you're hoping he could help.... I don't know... something to that effect.

I'm praying for you! Please let us know what happens!

Very good advice Dena.

I know it will be very hard, but try to keep your cool on the phone with him. If he suspects something, he may not be willing to tell you anything.

I really hope she can get in contact with him...man I wish it would have worked out, I would have had this ladies missing baby! I gave nicole his number, I do not know where he lives because he wanted me to call when i was on my way and he would give me the address. so all we have is a number on this guy :-(
I do know he said he had a boy yorkie and he breeds bulldogs, so maybe when you call mention you are interested in a bulldog? or you want to breed your female yorkie and need a stud? oh man i dont know :-(
