If I do get her I will take her in to see if she has a chip. I know his story isnt adding up. He doesnt know to much about her he says she was given to him. I dont know the whole story but I do know he got her for breeding purposes. when asked if he would lower his price he stated that he had gone down already and is in no rush to sell her because she should be coming into heat soon and he will just breed her if she is still there

now what I dont get is that if he is so into breeding her...why is he selling her? I really dont know what is going on, I wish I did.

For those of you that don't know, www.petfinder.com has a missing pet classifieds section. I did a search on Yorkshire Terriers in the New York area and there are several families looking for their lost pets. I hope this link helps:

Oooooops ... didn't realize that the search resulted in a bunch of terrier breeds. However this is a great resource for missing pets.

Bernie's family is heartbroken, as she has lived with her family since a pup. She is part of the Family.. this dog traveled with her owner every single day..to and from work, vacations, you name it. What we do know is that supposedly this little girl is somewhere between one and two yrs old.

Good idea of check!

I have to stay off petfinder or I would have more rescues than I have now

and especially the classified because the sad truth is that we may be able to help this one dog but there are always more that in the same if not worst conditions.

sorry I didnt update you guys, I have been out and about. I called him to tell him we could meet up but he was not at home. He said we could meet up tomorrow. I am going to try to go there around 2pm. I will let you guys know what happens. I really think its great how much help we have gotten! YT is so great and because of all of you guys this baby might be saved. really is amazing
