| Please Remember Rescue.... Lilly a former rescue, just wanted to pop on and to wish all her rescued friends and her friends still looking for a forever home a very Merry Christmas. Lilly came to us at the age of 13 weeks. She is now a healthy 8 month old full breed Yorkie who weighs in at a whopping 3 lbs. Her $400 adoption fee covered her spay, shots and vetting. Yes, full breed and mixed pups that are now called designer pups are available on rescue. Be patient and please consider rescue first when looking for your friend. Merry Christmas Elaine, Lillianna and the rest of the crew (Bella, Noel, Tia and Jersey) |

| She's a beauty! I hope she finds a great forever loving home, even better if it was from YT.

| What a wonderful Christmas wish! My Lady is also a rescue as well as her Siamese sisters, Sarah and Lily. You've never been loved until you've been loved by a rescue, huh? |

| Great post! Another point to make (in favour of rescued, adult dogs) is that I have found they are easier to house train than puppies. The best analogy I have heard in relation to this is that you can't expect puppies to be instantly house trained in a similar way that you can't expect a toddler baby to be instantly potty trained. However, adult dogs pick up much faster because their brains are fully developed and they just want to please their caregivers. The two female Yorkies I have adopted were surprisingly easy to train to use puppy pads ... however I might just be lucky ... |
