What wonderful news, finally.
Prayer's coming for Reece that he has a full and complete recovery.
How wonderful to have so much donated in his name. Lot's of angel's
out there. Colorado Yorkie Rescue is wonderful.

Thank you all .... Trish has an update [on our website] and pictures of Lacey with him at the Christmas Party last weekend! What a beautiful child! :) Little Reese was thrilled to see her!

[We have the "flu"? at our house and I have had my hands full taking care of "Mr. Whiney"!! :rolleyes: ] I will try to keep you all updated on Reese ... he gets the pins out in four weeks and will be x-rayed to make sure everything is in place & healing! Yippeeee!! :p

So thrilled to see how happy Reese looks & his cutie owner! He'll be home in the New Year so much better thanks to all of you & all those who have helped with his expenses. Praying a speedy healing continues

Ahhh ... thank you all for your kind words and support throughout Reese's ordeal! We have an update and lots of new pictures on our website! You can just see the love that Lacey & her Dad have for this little guy and he for them! A picture really is worth a thousand words! :p We are all looking forward to Reese's next appointment when they plan to remove his pins and x-ray to make sure the bones are all in place and he is healing according to schedule.

Update!!! We have covered all of Reese's expenses!! Thank you all so very much .... this miracle has definitely been a "team" effort and we want you all to know how much we appreciate it. We are praying that the rest of his recovery goes well and when his pins are removed and the x-rays made, that all the bones, etc. will be in place and perfect!! :)

The pictures of Reese and his family brought tears to my eyes. I'm so proud to be a part of this loving Yorkie community..... it feels more like a family. You guys are SO awesome! :thumbup:

Just a little update and reminder! Little Reese will be going on Tuesday, Jan. 15, to get his pins removed and x-rays to make sure everything is healing according to plan!! :thumbup: Please, everyone, remember this little man and whisper a little prayer for him? :)

Wonderful about little Reese!!! Great job Yorkie Rescue Colorado! Without someone with a caring heart like you guys this would never have happened for that little man and his family who loves him!

I hope the x-rays show that his bone is healed so the doc can take the pins out!

Thank you all so very much! Dad is also attending this appointment to learn "aftercare" instructions. The sites where the pins are removed will have to be kept sterile, etc. until everything is completely healed. If he can handle that [and he believes he can] then little Reese will finally be going home! We will all be praying for great news and a very happy homecoming for Reese!! ;)

Update on Reese.
 
Sorry it is so late, we didn't get the news we were expecting. His appointment wasn't until late this afternoon. The vet found after removing the pins that Reese has an infection where one of the pins were and the infection is in his bone! While the vet says that it's not uncommon, we are just devestated. He will be on antibotics for the next two weeks and has to stay with FM until he is better. We are all so very disappointed ... we were all so excited and thought he would get to go home today. I will update again tomorrow.

oh, yes we were hoping for better news. I will pray the infection is quickly & safely illuminated from his bones. I am sure his owners were saddened by no homecoming today - but they will be forever grateful when they get a healthy Reese home.

Keep up the amazing work! I'm so happy to hear that Reese will be returning to his family! I bet the look on that little girl's face when Reese returns home will be absolutely priceless!
