Wonderful about little Reese!!! Great job Yorkie Rescue Colorado! Without someone with a caring heart like you guys this would never have happened for that little man and his family who loves him!

Oh, thank you so much for the update on Reese. Glad to hear he is doing so well. Will continue to pray for him. How excited his owners must be about his upcoming homecoming.

Thank you all so very much! Dad is also attending this appointment to learn "aftercare" instructions. The sites where the pins are removed will have to be kept sterile, etc. until everything is completely healed. If he can handle that [and he believes he can] then little Reese will finally be going home! We will all be praying for great news and a very happy homecoming for Reese!!

Sorry it is so late, we didn't get the news we were expecting. His appointment wasn't until late this afternoon. The vet found after removing the pins that Reese has an infection where one of the pins were and the infection is in his bone! While the vet says that it's not uncommon, we are just devestated. He will be on antibotics for the next two weeks and has to stay with FM until he is better. We are all so very disappointed ... we were all so excited and thought he would get to go home today. I will update again tomorrow.

oh, yes we were hoping for better news. I will pray the infection is quickly & safely illuminated from his bones. I am sure his owners were saddened by no homecoming today - but they will be forever grateful when they get a healthy Reese home.

Keep up the amazing work! I'm so happy to hear that Reese will be returning to his family! I bet the look on that little girl's face when Reese returns home will be absolutely priceless!
