The medium comes with one strap, but I'm not sure that I love it. I have considered getting a different strap that I know has been crash tested. I'm not sure if its overkill, but I am considering getting a separate seatbelt adapter to be used with it. I use a Buddy Belt with Katie, but I have considered using the PawRider seatbelt adapter to use along with the Snoozer.

I have three of the medium seats for my pups. They take up all of the back seat, but each dog has their own space and safety strap. Works great for us. I did shorten the straps so the dogs can still stand up to look out the windows but can't get out of the seat.

We have 1 of the luxury lookout II's and one of the small luxury seats. The boys are in the bigger one and do fine. Of course, "princess" Shelby gets one of her own. (The boys like to snuggle & she likes her space) It works well for us... But we do like the drawer in it to hold a collapsible bowl, pick up bags, & hand towel ( for muddy feet if we make a pee pee stop). It is really handy.
