| Anyone have a good training book to sell or recommend? Hey all - ooooooo, it's Saturday night and no hot date for me! Just sitting at home on the computer and wondering......... Does anyone have a good training book/ Yorkie book/ etc. that they don't need anymore and is selling/giving away? I want to buy "Dog Training for Dummies" and "Yorkshire Terrier for Dummies", but want a used copy to save $$$. I would be willing to send you a check for the book and postage? The postage should be around $1.42 for regular shipping my mail (called Media Mail by local post office). Lemme know - I really want to start Cujo off on the right foot!

| Hi if no one has anything here, look in amazon.com. They have pretty good deals and you can get used books there as well.

| I don't have any for sale, but the ones you mentioned are good. There is also "Little Dogs: Training your pint sized companion" by Deborah Wood. Also there is a lot of great free training tips on the internet with step by step instructions for lots of behaviors from the simplest to the more complex. I love clicker training and there is a great magazine on that subject as well as an article in the current issue of Yorkshre Terrier Magazine. Good luck in training Cujo. You are so smart to begin immediately. |

| The very best that I have found so far is Sharda Baker's book, that is a e-book. You download if from the internet. Not only did I download it, but I also printed it, so that I had it at hand to sit back and read. The title of the book is: "Yorkshire Terriers Small and Sweet With A Little Bit Of Attitude" You can find her Dog Site through Google Search. I tried to attach it here, but kept losing my YT window.
