| Wholesale? My husband and I are in talks to open a pet store around the end of this month if all goes well. We are looking for things that are harder to find in other stores.. around here that includes hair bows, different clothing, belly bands, etc. If you are interested in possibly selling (wholesale) to us.. pm me or e-mail me the products/quantity/prices. thanks, Kristina Henderson. Also... if you have any suggestions for products, that would be appreciated as well. |

| I have an idea...Orijen dog foods are amazing! Homemade, gourmet treats are also a big hit, fancy dog bowls, DOG CARSEATS, etc. Things that most people have to order online, a lot of people would prefer just to get it in a store but can't find it (me included). I also dream to open a pet store and when I do, I hope to have a groomery and pet cafe, too. Of course that is many, many years away

| An upscale pet boutique near me has a "play room" for small dogs. Moms/Dads can purchase an excellent cup of coffee and sit at very chic tables and chat while the little ones have their own social time. |

I LOVE that idea. We have no upscale boutiques in this area Closest one is over 1 1/2 hours away - ugh.

| I've been to a lot of really great upscale doggie botiques in San Francisco, San Jose, Carmel, Monterey, San Louis Obisbo, Santa Barbara, Ventura and such, and none of them sell dog food. Some sell little bags of all natural dog snacks. I personally wouldn't deal with selling dog food if I were you. When I thought seriously about opening up a doggie botique here in my small town, I thought about putting in those little soda shop style tables and chairs and set up a little side counter with coffee, tea and have a small cooler with cold drinks. This way it's a nice draw when people can come in and relax and chat..........you generate more sales too. |

| " Good Luck " in your new adventure. One thing I think is neat and they don't have these at any of the dog stores around here, just at my groomers. It's dog ( all occasion ) greeting cards. I was just in there today and bought 4 cards.

Donating YT 11K Club Member | That is a GREAT GREAT idea!! I dream of doing that too one day. I wish you the best of luck and hope you are successful. Be sure to tell us where it is so we can visit As for advise, I think all natural, organic treats would be the way to go Also really cute clothes in several sizes, and things you have to order online like carseats, strollers, like someone else said. I also think having a little playroom would be a good idea
