| Yorkie Grooming Dvd "HOW TO GROOM YOUR PET YORKIE AT HOME" INSTRUCTIONAL DVD $39.95 plus $3.50 shipping FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY, YORKIE TALKERS GET A $10.00 OFF DISCOUNT. YOU MUST MENTION THIS WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER. This 2 hour, 2 minute DVD is going to show you how to groom your own yorkie, with 3 different hair cuts, (regular or "show" trim...Puppy Cut, and the "Schnauzer" or summer trim) and the "teddy bear" head, and how to correctly put in a top knot. I show you a "show" type topknot, and one for every day use at home that will really stay in! I have wonderful close-ups for nail trimming. I show you how to pluck and clean the ears, and how to empty the anal glands, and bathing/blow drying your yorkie. I have been a groomer since 1990, and here I will share my grooming secrets, and show you how to properly care for your yorkies coat. This is for pet yorkies, just like you have at home, not show dogs. I show you what grooming items to use, how to use them, and where to buy them at the lowest prices around. Shop where the groomers shop, and save hundreds of dollars EVERY year on grooming. Yorkies are the easiest breed to groom, and you too can do it, once you know how. This newest updated version has several chapters so that you can watch the entire video from start to finish, or watch a specific section as many times as you need to in order for you to learn the proper technique you are interested in seeing. Here is a testimonial that I just received about my grooming video. I just had to share it here. I get so many of these, and it really makes me feel like I am making a difference in the life of yorkie owners all over the country! Sue, I received your grooming DVD the other day and watched it yesterday, I must say I have learned so much, I bought a different video on grooming, and that one was a big waste of money compared to yours, I think ANYONE interested in grooming their own yorkie should have your video. I just can't praise you enough, The puppy cut was exactly what I was looking for, I recently took my Lola to a groomer to get the puppy cut, and it didn't look anything like yours (yours was what I wanted) I will have to wait until her hair grows out some to give her your puppy cut. thank you so much Everyone should have your DVD. Anyone wanting to groom your yorkie yourself check out Sue's video..... Karen ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ All 11 of my grooming video's are made for the novice pet owner who knows nothing about grooming, and wants to safely groom their pet at home using simple techniques and common sense. They are not made for professional groomers or show dogs. They show simplified pet trims to keep your dog looking good all of the time. With my techniques, no one will know you do not go to a professional groomer. I have been a groomer for 17+ years, and I am going to share my grooming secrets with you. I show you what equipment you need to buy without wasting your money on the useless stuff, and where to buy it. Shop where the groomers shop! Groom like a pro in no time! It is really easy once you know how. For every breed, I show you grooming techniques on the actual breed of dog on the title. Real dogs who wiggle, squirm, and might not be too happy with the grooming process. My models are specially chosen from my grooming clientele, to reflect the problems you might encounter at home. I do not use trained models, but real dogs, just like yours at home. All of the DVD's have just been updated to make it even easier for you to learn from them. I go into great detail, and show you how to do the things that your groomer does on a routine basis, and that need to be done routinely by you to keep your dog in optimum health. Included in the basics are: nail trimming, foot pad shaving, ear plucking & cleaning, anal gland care, bathing and blow drying, as well as clipper use and scissoring techniques geared to your specific breed. My contact information is on the end of the video, as well as the places that I can honestly recommend to buy from. Grooming your own pet has other benefits too! With routine hands on care of your dog, you will know of any health or physical changes sooner than most pet owners. Finding problems with your pet and getting fast medical care for them can lengthen the lifespan of your dog. Spending more quality "hands on" time with your dog is also beneficial to both you and your dogs health in so many ways. It has even been shown to lower blood pressure and stress in pet owners! Below is a more in-depth description of my YORKIE video. I have also made a video on "The Art of Dog Massage" and "How to Make Bows like the Show Dogs Wear". Feel free to email me with any questions at: doglady21@comcast.net Thanks for looking! IF YOU ALREADY OWN THIS DVD, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO POST YOUR COMMENTS ON HOW YOU LIKED IT. |

| I have an older version of your Yorkie grooming DVD and it is great. It has helped me so much. I didn't have a clue about grooming until I got your video. I especially like that you make recommendations for grooming tools. I also have your "Art of Dog Massage" DVD. It is great too. My babies LOVE the massage! I have one question. My Yorkie has thick hair and floppy ears. Do you have any recommendation for how to trim her ears? Do you cut them straight across or taper them? I can never seem to get them straight. Thanks! Jean

Thick hair and floppy ears can be managed in several ways. Some people like to trim the ear quite short, following the natural shape of the ear and scissor trimming about 1/8th of an inch around the outside edge of the ear leather. This makes a very cute puppy style of an ear. It also reduces the matting behind the ears that comes with a thicker or cottony coat. You could also trim them straight across and it is a cute look too. It all depends on your taste...and remember of you do a trim that you do not like, it will grow out and you can try something different the next time. Feel free to ask me anything about grooming, I am always happy to help. Sue & Cricket | |

| This is so awesome!! For Christmas the year before last, my mom said that she wanted some sort of training material to teach her the proper cuts for her Yorkies because so many people bring theirs to her and ask her to do it. The only thing I could find was this one book and it wasn't even that great. I'm almost certain we'll be ordering this soon! Thank you!
