| Sergeant's Skip-Flea and tick Shampoo w/ Oatmeal I was trying to grab something quick for Rascals few fleas and dry itchiness. This is all I could find at Wal-Mart. Should I use this or should I take it back? I am going to eventually get to one of the pet specialty stores this week or next. (it's tough b/c I live on a mtn and it's a long trip.) What do you think?

| I'm sorry, I don't know.....we have never dealt with fleas here (thank goodness), so I just don't know. I know some on here have said that you can wash with Dawn dish soap to get rid of the fleas, but if there is already dry itchy skin, I don't know if that would be good or not?!! Maybe someone will help you out!

| Yes a lot of people use dawn, and then comb out the dead fleas. I don't know if it keeps new ones from coming.

| There's no reason why you can't use that shampoo. To really get rid of the problem though, you need to treat the dogs, house and all the bedding of the dogs... it's a royal pain - but having fleas in the house is even worse! |
