				   | Does anyone have a favorite brush you use on your baby? I am using a human brush. It is 100% boar hair and pretty soft. Zoey is like trying to brush a tazmanian devil! She hates it! I believe she has a silky coat. It never gets knotted. Any favorite brands or types?

				   | My favorite brush to use on Roxie is the Chris Christensen Fusion Pin Brush and the Buttercomb. The brush and comb were a little pricey but worth every penny. When I first got Roxie she hated to be bushed. Only to find out the reason was because the brush that I was using was not a good quality brush. So I googled brushes and was lead to a thread on YT about Chris Christensen brushes. The rest is history and I have been on here ever since!

				   | Honestly I just use a really wide toothed comb, and neither one of them mind it. When I try to use a brush on Penny she tries to eat it.

| Therapy Dog Donating Member | k - I have no idea how to cut and paste a thread on this site but it's under Chris Christensen Brush in Grooming and for new posts. Sorry - I'm sometimes PC challenged. This was a great thread on brushes and selecting quality ones.

				   | I use the CC Pin Fusion brush and the Buttercomb (#006). Both work great and Kingston thinks he's getting a massage. |

				   | AT the dog show this past week-end I talked to a lady who was showing a little Ch. Yorkie about shampoos, conditioners, food, brushes and all and found she uses the Chris Christensen pin brush, so I ordered the oval HBCC35 for $21.00. She uses the slicker to get the knots out. She first put the cowboy magic detangler shine on the knot, then with a knitting needle she seperates the knot and then brushes it out with a small soft slicker brush. |

				   | I switched sometime ago to a comb. A brush just does not do it. Buddy is very silky and seldom knots. So a comb makes better sence for me. The comb, with long prongs, goes right throw his coat and leaves him flowing. |

				   | I searched for the C gold and fusion brush......there are like 3 choices. Also, the combs are the same way. Do I want the fine comb or what....???? And the oval brush, long brush or the toy brush....it ranges from 19 to 49 dollars..... Just wonder which ones to order??????? |

				   | I LOVE the CC Brushes. They are a bit pricey. I ended up buying the first one from a vendor at a dog show...I don't regret the purchase at all and I loved that I could pick up each brush and hold it before buying. Just to make sure it "fit".

I also comb him after brushing. Brush gets almost all tangles and mats out (and he gets badly matted if I put clothes on him). I've developed some kind of brushing technique how to do it. I also use Cowboy Magic. | |
