I think it depends on the size of your dog and amount of hair. If your dog have nice full coat get brush with longer teeth. My yorkie is big with long medium density coat and I have oval brush with 1" length teeth. Works wonders for me. I have fine comb with long teeth. It's not CC but also fine quality from England. Get yourself a mixed fine/coarse comb and it will help with splitting tangles and mats and also good for combing. Hope it helps.

When I was trying to decide, I talked to the lady from Needs and Desires - she sells all of the brands. She said there is such a negligible difference btwn CC and #1 All Systems brushes, that she recommends the AS brushes bc the price is so much better. She does really like the CC butter combs.
