| mild shampoo suggestions? Hello! I use minksheen on my Dunks, but the last time I brought him to the Vet he said that Dunks' skin is kind of dry. I bathe him every two weeks coz he gets pretty stinky - I take him to the doggie park at least 4 times a week... So, do any fellow YTers have any suggestions on what kind/brand/ingredients would be best to use on Dunks that wont dry out his skin given that I give him a bath every 2 weeks? Thanks guys!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Baby shampoo would probably be a good one for him.

My Lil Man! Donating Member | The best thing I recommend is an oatmeal conditioner and put it on him and let it sit for about 5 minutes and then rinse. I use BioGuard Flea and Tick shampoo which is very mild and an oatmeal conditioner and I wash Reeses once a week and he doesnt have any problems with dry skin anymore since I use the conditioner. Goodluck! |

| I use Aveeno baby soothing relief creamy wash. It is tear free so you can wash their face too.

| MinkSheen is a GREAT gentle shampoo. If Dunks has dry skin, you might want to correct that from the inside out -- maybe he needs a change of food and/or some supplements. I had the same problem with my Chattie. I changed her food and started giving her a few drops of 100% emu oil every day and her coat is finally growing, it looks GREAT and doesn't break off every time I brush her. |

| The #1 All systems products are excellent and they have one for sensitive skin.http://mjmcompany.com/1allsystems-grooming.htm Also you may want to add cod liver oil to the food each day. If your dog eats dog food, that could be why his skin is so dry. |
