| Gross! An FYI, I guess? I've been trying to decide whether or not I should post this and I've decided that I will. Obviously I'm not going to post any names, but I recently got a package in the mail from a YT member that I bought something from and in the box (along with the stuff I bought) was a live cockroach...and it's still alive a couple weeks later. I freaked out & stuck a cup over it lol and there's no way in hell that I'm lifting that cup. Anyway, the reason I'm posting is just to say that maybe we should check the boxes we send out just a wee bit more carefully. Now, obviously I'm sure it was a total accident and they just didn't know it was there (the same could easily happen to anyone).

BANNED! | Yuck..It is possible it could have been picked up in transit also, so I personally always open my boxes away from my furkids. Whoever sent you the extra crawly gift should make extra sure to check their shipping boxes abit more carefully. I am glad that you left out mentioning names, since we never know where our packages go to before they finally reach us. |

Yea, a spider or something would have been one thing, but a big nasty roach?! No thanks!!! lol Don't worry, I'd rather sell the house with the cup than pick that thing up lmao The worst thing is that we just don't have roaches in my area. I'd really like to keep it that way...lol

| My question is, why has it been alive for a few weeks? Have a live roach in my house (under a cup) for a few weeks would freak me out more than originally getting a box with a live roach.

| EWEW! I always pick up any boxes/envelopes at the post office as well, so I've never checked to see if there was anything *alive* in there, LOL. I hope whoever sent you the package will check more carefully from now on. |

| I don't sell anything, so I am not defending myself. But roaches love cardboard and brown paper bags. Which is why I don't keep either in my house. Yes we spray religiously, and no I have never seen them, but I like it that way. Unfortunately, they are really obnoxious and could easily go from one package to another in transit, so anything is possible.

| It most likely was between the flaps of the box. they live on the glue and can live for a long long time and withstand heat and cold. So even if everyone checked every box, there could still be a roach in it. So, for the person that she purchased from, I hope yhou didn't take the post personally, I'm sure you would hve noticed a live bug in the box when you packed it. |

| Yeah, the roach could have hitched a ride in transit; you never know. Make sure that you got rid of that box!! I've heard of things like that then the possiblity of eggs in that box becomes very real, and I think the eggs would be small enough to miss easy! Take it directly out to the dumpster. . . the box, and if you're brave enough consider disposing of that roach also.

I'm too afraid/grossed out to go near the cup. The farthest I've been able to go is just close enough to make sure the stupid thing is still in there lol. The boyfriend will go up & look at it, but even he's too much of a pansy to kill it. Also, how the bloody heck do you kill it? A hammer? lol
