| ![]() This was the description that I was trying to give after my experience bathing Tatum with Mink Sheen. Just couldn't describe it well enough. I think you said that Kiki is your cottony coated one and you had the puffy, frizzy problem. Well, Tatum is normally very silky and I had that same problem. And she was a big tangly mess right after the bath.

| ![]() I just gave Brea her second bath with MinkSheen. She has VERY thick hair - it's also still her puppy hair. I love the smell so much! She looks beautiful! Someone earlier said their pup looked cleaner. I agree - she looks so clean and her colors look so vibrant. It does add volume - which she probably doesn't need - LOL. But the puffiness goes away within a day. I may use a bit of Sea Breeze later on. She is always a bit tangled after a bath, no matter what we use, so this did not make it any worse. Her facial hair is hanging (falling?) so nicely. So, I need to go - I want to see her some more. ![]() |

| ![]() THE MORNING AFTER: Okay, things are looking up a bit! Both coats are hanging more evenly, if that makes sense. ![]() ![]() But the very ends still look frizzled, to me. If I can find a way to make those look better, I'll be happy.

I am used to combing thier hair out wet before & during Blow Drying. They all turned out looking Fine. I can't say Milksheen is the best at this point. Their coast are soft but not shiny. It did rinse out very well. We have been using Plush Puppy & Cranberry Fields recently - I love them both. I will try MilkSheen again next weeekend on them BUT I will use Plush Puppy Blow Dry Cream before combing & blowdrying. I'll give everyone a update next week. Plush Puppy Blow Dry Cream is my FAVORITE Product of all. It works like a detangler for combing & also softens thier coats!!! So if you plan on ordering Plush Puppy Products - please try Blow Dry Cream -You wont regret it!

| ![]() I received our free sample a couple of days ago and my hubby and I gave Harley a bath with it tonight. His fur looks beautiful and he smells great! I have never seen his coloring like this before. He has all sorts of new colors, if that makes sense. Also, he had some knots and it was much easier to brush through him than when we have used other brands!!! He has a nice sheen...not as much as those I have seen with a sily coat. He is more cottony (maybe a mixture of silky and cottony) and he is in more of a longer puppy cut. No matter the length or texture, he looks so nice! After reading what everyone was saying about the smell, I was a little leary because I do not typically like pet shampoo that smell like cologne. However, the smell of this is so incredibly light and nice...I was pleasantly surprised by this. Thanks again for the suggestion of this product!! Tammy |

| ![]() a modified silk coat is a yorkie that doesn't look like it has a cotton coat. The coat is smooth and appears to be a "silk" coat. However, the coat isn't always cool to the touch. If I take Jaden and Jewelina outside, they can be in 90 degree weather and their coats still feel cool. A modified silk coat will not. It's kind of a mix between a silk and cotton, it doesn't have as many problems as a cotton coat can have but it can tangle and matt more often and might require the use of special kinds of products to get it to hang properly and lay smoothly. |

So happy this worked for you! When it does work it is an awesome product! I guess dogs are just like humans when it comes to products. What works for some will not work for others. I know I've tried a bunch of products from the salon that do nothing for me that others swear by so I guess it comes down to your own personal genetics and how things work for each one.

That was an awesome review! I love having all kinds of reviews on products! It does seem like this product works better on silk coated yorkies, I guess the results just end up showing more? I wonder if those who tried it that used it on their puppies, if once their "puppy coats" are gone if it'd work any better for them...it'd be an interested experiment to try...

If the smell is bothering you, you may want to try Cranberry Fields shampoo and conditioner. Petzlife.com sells it as does KathrynV www.beyondspoiled.com They shampoo and conditioner smells great when you are shampooing them but once they are rinsed and dried off you can hardly smell anything at all. It just smells "fresh" nothing like the MinkSheen. It's a great product as well, and one that I also use on both of mine. We like the oatmeal cookie shampoo and lavendar conditioner the best. Since the scents are so very light they do not clash with each other at all. ![]()
