Onto Mazie! When I first got her out of the tub, her hair looked VERY tangly! And again, the combing out seemed to almost "tear" her hair.

This was the description that I was trying to give after my experience bathing Tatum with Mink Sheen. Just couldn't describe it well enough. I think you said that Kiki is your cottony coated one and you had the puffy, frizzy problem. Well, Tatum is normally very silky and I had that same problem. And she was a big tangly mess right after the bath.
