For those who make belly bands... ...do you put anything between the two pieces of fabric?? I don't use these and so I don't know how they're made...Since you put a pad insided anyway, do you put absorbers in the middle???

I don't put anything between the 2 layers, but I do use a soft fleece material to go next to the body. I buy the equate brand sanitary napkins from walmart and they seem to work pretty well.

I do this also. The pads won't stick to a lot of materials, but they stick to the fleece.

| This is going to seem like a silly question.... But what are the belly bands for? Are they to keep little guys from going after the girls? Or for controlling marking?

Yeah, they control the marking and peeing everywhere. They actually wrap around their little bellys, covering their little pee pees. They fasten on top with velcro.
