| ANOTHER car seat question!! I have read for an hour .... checking on the search engine for previous threads and haven't really gotten the answer that I need. So YT'ers PLEASE HELP! I received some cash for Christmas and want to purchase a car seat or car seats for Shelby & Seymour. At the time I am using crates when we travel. I have found one thread that said that the "My Buddy" Seat was HUGE.. and too big for some smaller car backseats. Is the My Buddy Lookout seat that HUGE? I would like something versatile... regardless of what vehicle we use. I also know that some seats are too small for 2 dogs. I am looking at the "Lookout" type car seats. Shelby & Seymour are not tiny Yorkies. They are about 7 & 8 pounds. They sometimes travel with us in the RV on long trips and I think that they would prefer to lay down if possible. I would be open to buying 1 or 2 seats. ANY Suggestions? Do any of you with furkids use the Lookout(s)? What do have and does it work for you? Thanks for your help! |

| We bought the Cozy Car-Go by Global Pet Products. We started out with just the one dog in there but have adapted it for use for the two girls by using a double lead that a dog walker would use when walking 2 dogs on one lead. We love it. Love that it's nice and deep so we feel it keeps them safe. Now, to be honest, neither of our girls like to look out the window. Both lay down immediately when they get in the car and they're as good as gold no matter how long the trip. I highly recommend this product. |

| Here is the website for the Lookout Seats and you should be able to get measurements and ideas from the site. I bought mine on ebay. http://www.snoozer-dog-beds.com/dogcarseats.htm My larger dogs prefer to have their own seat so they can either curl up and go to sleep or just hang out in it. The little ones are okay with 2 in them but I get more "she touched me, no he touched me" comments from the peanut gallery when we go on road trips. I have 3 Lookout seats to cover the entire backseat so the gang can all travel safely if we have to.

| I know they make the Look out for multiple dogs. I used the standard one for my 10 pound and 4 pound girls and they just snuggled up together. Here is a link for the standard size: http://www.petedge.com/shopping/prod...ctID=3326&AS=1 And one for the larger size: http://www.petedge.com/shopping/prod...ctID=3325&AS=1

| Good Morning! - update: Ordered Car seat I ordered the oversized Lookout II for Shelby & Seymour. I am hoping that it is big enough for the 2 of them and they are willing to ride together in it (If not, I will order another one so they can ride comfortably separate). They are not tiny yorkies.... both 7-8.5 lbs. I will update when it arrives and let you know the outcome. Happy New Year! |

I hope I haven't confused you - I have confused myself LOL...but with the gang there is not a simple answer. My gang has learned they have to share space a little more than if I just had one.

| I don't know I will look at the sites again but basically I will have 3 5-7 lb yorkies.......I know Bailey should be around 5 lbs full grown and I expect to get 2 more which will fall in 5-7 lbs and I want each of them to be able to lay nicely so I don't know if I should get 2 carseats (1 large for 2 yorkies 1 small for 1 yorkie) or should I just get 3 regulars ones

| Ok I have made my final decision I am going to go with the Snoozer Reg. Size Lookout II for Bailey w/ the monogram. My total came to $113 and then I found out that they don't take DISCOVER just Mastercard and Visa so I will have to mail a money order to them. Does anyone else think that $113 is a little pricey???

OH.... and the micro suede ones are REALLY nice ( they are a bit more in price, but I think that they are worth it). | |

Yorkie Yakker | My Sugar and Spice use the Lookout the one for 2 dogs and love it. Its high up so that they can see out the window and have two sets of harnesses that keep them safe. It has drawers on the bottom so that you can put toys etc. and it comes with a stand for a water dish and food. Regards, Edie |
