What about driver and passenger airbags? does the console carrier keep them safe in case of a collision and airbag deployment?

| I just got my Console Lookout today and Sissy took right to it. She fits comfortably inside and laid right down with her little paws and head over the end. Also, if you go directly to the Snoozer website, the small console states for small dogs up to 8 lbs. Sissy is just 4, and fits secure in the seat without lots of room - so if you have a do much bigger than 6 lbs, you would need the larger console seat. I do not believe most cars have airbags in the center of the front seat - just in front of the driver and passenger seats. And there is no warning about airbags with this seat like there are with others that go right into the seat.

| Thanks for posting this! I feel like a bad mom when I let Diamond sit in my lap while I am driving but she always has to be near me, unless she starts to get fidgety and that is when it gets dangerous. Like someone else asked, what is holding the console lookout in place? |

I just ordered the console carseat for the back as I want them together when travelling. I wish there was enough room on my SUV to accomodate the larger console lookout . . .so I had to settle for a backseat one.

Sissy also really likes being close to me and is not even content to be on my lap, but has to be in my arms. With the console seat, she can literally lay against my arm. So far, so good - she is right next to me so a much better option than being in the back seat!!

. That is why I am keeping my small one intact because it is still usable if only one is travelling. There is only one drawback to this carseat . . it is a pain to put it on so I never, ever take it out. Here's a tip . . . always put a favorite blanket over it so you won't ever have to worry about getting it dirty . . .

| I'm thinking about getting a 2nd yorkie next month. Should I just get a larger one so both of them can fit in? Or if they are both on the smaller size (4 - 4.5 pounds) will they both fit in a smaller one? |

| Based on how Sissy fits in the smaller console seat at 4 lbs, I would get a bigger one if you are planning on putting two in it. Just make sure it will fit correctly on your console. Or with how great these prices are, get a smaller console for when just one travels with you and one of the small regular lookouts for when the two go together...
