				 | I'm going to bump this up 'cuz I need a bit of help now.... I have a 48" opening I need to gate off. Target has a gate that'll expand that wide, but it's too tall to just step over. Really I need it to be 24" (or so) or less. Fours paws makes a "Vertical Wood Slat Gate" that's 24" but expands from 53" - 96", so it's too long. They also have a "Walk Over Gate" that's 18" tall, but only goes up to 44". I saw some people have used lattice with some success, but how do you keep it standing up? I don't want to have to bolt anything to the doorway or wall.... I want to keep it reasonably priced too. Some of those free standing gates are awesome, but they're just too expensive! |

				 | I use the Kidco Baby gates throughout my house and I love them. If you go on ebay and type in kidco baby gates you will see many different styles and prices but they are the best that I have found. What I especially like with them is that I am not stepping over them but walking through the gate and closing it after myself. Mine are all on the pressure mount system (some of them are secured to the wall but I ordered the other ones) and they have worked perfectly for me. Here is just an example. http://cgi.ebay.com/Extra-Wide-Walk-...QQcmdZViewItem

				 | this one is adjustable and also very reasonably priced but it's only 40 inches..anyways, I thought you might be interested. as for the suggestion with the xpen you will need to put something against the x pen to keep it in place. After a couple of days my "monsters" figured out they could move it, got out and made a big, big, mess =) http://www.collectionsetc.com/Item76114.aspx Quote:
