| Sorry.... But Hubby came in and was reading over my shoulder and took an interest in this thread. He suggested that I do some serious research on the issue. (Before opening my big mouth ) So we sat down and pulled up every working website listed in the United States Distributers list. I think that any of you following this ridiculous thread might enjoy seeing for yourselves. I took the liberty of coping the links to all of the websits and their prices on the Ice on Ice 16 ounce Concentrate. I was really not supprised to see that none of them were $23.00 more than www.retail4wholesale.com's price. In fact all but one were listed at the real price of $37.00 . The only one that was not was marked up a whopping $1.95. So while Stephanie's site does offer a better price in the end... Saving a few bucks is not worth it... I don't like the dishonesty involved. Click on a few links and see for yourself. The true price of the product is what it is. http://www.cherrybrook.com/store/Sea...iewmode=normal 38.95 http://www.atjanesbooth.com/index.as...egory=9&Page=2 37.00 http://www.3cdog.com/index.php?cPath=21_32 37.00 http://www.showdogstore.com/index.as...gory=88&Page=3 37.00 https://secure.highspeedweb.net/~ldcpet/aa-iceonice.htm 37.00 Sorry Stephanie... But Some of us are very Smart Shoppers.... Quack Quack

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Hmmmmm...For ANYONE ordering off the net thru an independant distributor - CHECK YOUR retail price and shipping on the MAIN site before ordering. I just placed a refill order with CC Systems & brush ...I would have gone thru Gerry at www.imapreciouspup.com if she sold brushes...She offers a TRUE discount for Yorkietalk people..... I paid the flat shipping of 7 $....the suggested retail price of the Ice and got my products in less than 3 days. Same shipping when I got the Gallon of Conditioner last year - RESEARCH the net sites before ordering - anyone can inflate a price and then claim 'SALE'....The Ice on Ice can easily be checked out and no one should have to pay more from any site.... I know of someone who used one of those 'alternative' websites to order the Ice from recently - her Credit card was charged and she received no product. (not any site mentioned here) So a warning....do NOT order from here...http://animainia.com/index.html |

Stephanie - no offense...you have the ICE listed as RETAIL for 15.95. NOT TRUE. It retails for TEN DOLLARS on the CC Site - so basically you offer a 5 CENT discount. Claiming a higher retail in my opinion is very misleading and in no way a 'Wholesale" price as the site claims.

| I'm not sure why I'm wasting my time with this nonsense. Lisa Christensen is able to price her products for whatever price she wants to. BUT, on the order for that THEY supply to their distributors, they specifically list what the SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE is of all their products. Please feel free to do some more research and call Lisa directly at 800-654-7006. My guess is that you won't go that far because you don't want to be proven wrong. Also, do some research on the difference between a suggested retail price and a selling price. Have a fabulous day! But in all that you have bashed me, I've not once resorted in calling you names like you've done with me Kathryn! Very mature of you!Stephanie |

| Stephanie... I have referred to you as Stephanie and nothing but. I don't name call.... If anything the members here can tell you that I will argue tooth and nail for someone when I belive that they are being bashed without cause or proof. Just see some of my Chicken Soup posts, from the Diamond Foods recall. I certianlly am not a name caller... As for the old saying: if it looks like a duck... Bla bla bla.. Its one that many I'm sure are familiar with. I in no way was calling you a duck Stephanie. The fact that you think I was, just means that you missed my point entirely! What a shame. As for proof. Please feel free to scan the sheet and post it. I certianly had it in mind to follow up with a call to CC today. I would love to have a copy of their order sheet when I do. Seeing as all of this took place on Sunday evening, it was not an option last night. I also plan to copy this thread and send it as well. I wonder what they would think of their rep conducting themselves like this in a public forum? I don't think that this is exactly the image that CC is wanting to put out there to the buying public. Just a guess? I Am a Manager for a fine Jewelry store.... I would be out of a job and unemployable if I ever treated a potential customer like this. And yes, I have to answer tough price matching and quality questions everyday. Its a hard business. You need to be better prepared to handle your customers and their inquires. As far as your offer to fax... I would have taken you up on it in a heartbeat! but I just moved 600 miles across California... I only got my internet back up on Sat, and my phone is scheduled to be installed on April 4th, so my fax is not live. I would really be interested in seeing it if you have the ability to scan it. My private email is PureSafeBodyCare@aol.com I guess its not so private

| Kathryn, Wow, now you are really grasping for straws aren't you. I re-read through every single post I made and I'm a little confused where you think I might have conducted myself in a manner that CC would disapprove of. Feel free to send the entire thread to Lisa as she's already been made aware of what is going on with this "issue". In fact, she told me that she recieved another email this morning about the suggested retail price of Ice on Ice concentrate and what a can of worms this has opened. I told her that I guess I am the only one in the US that happens to post Chris Christensen's SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICES on my site. In an email conversation this morning with Lisa, she did point out to me that my retail price on the Ice on Ice concentrate was off by $2. I guess an over site by the person who enters my items on my website. However, it's been changed. Copied from the distributor list here is the Ice on Ice concentrate: ITEM DESCRIPTION PRICE EACH SUG. RETAIL CASE PACK 052 Ice on Ice Concentrate 16 oz. 27.43 54.95 12 As you can see, my cost on the item is $27.43 and Chris Christensen's SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE is $54.95. From Lisa's email to me: "On the Ice on Ice Concentrate our suggested retail price is $54.95. You have on your web site that suggested retail on this item is $56.95" Please don't hesitate to let me know if you'd like to price check anymore items on my website! I'm always here to help! | From CC's Catalog.... "Replenishes protien loss creating a striking volume by implanting a high volume of low molecular weight proteins into the hair shaft. The dense compact foam base allows easy distribution throught the entire coat. Naturally volumizing thin, skimpy coats while repairing and protecting coat hairs. Strengthens weakened coat hair shafts and repairs split ends." Its something I would want on a frumpy coat, or a thin damaged coat.... but cotton candy sounds like a poofy and porous coat to me... Maybe ice on ice or seabreeze oil? Have you tried them? I have used the Thick n Thicker on Pixie and it sure did perk up the volume of her coat! It made her look like she had a much thicker coat! So I'd have to give it a thumbs up!

| Hello, I am new to this forum and being a Yorkie mom, and I am confused about something. I have been following this thread about the CC products and am wondering why there is such a big deal about one of the distributors. I checked the CC web site and she is listed on there as a distributor. The whole idea behind her company is to get products to her customers at wholesale prices (hence the name ). Why is she being bashed for doing what she states on her site? An even bigger question would be, why would someone be upset about getting things they want at a lower price? If you paid the lower price and then received a product that was not what you bought-then you were ripped off, and I could see someone getting angry and saying someone was dishonest. But why is this distributor being accused of being dishonest because she is choosing to sell a product at a lower price? Especially if this IS her business to sell things at a lower price. If she was not legitimate, why is she listed on the CC site? I don't get it. Where is the dishonesty? Has someone not gotten what was expected or stated from this distributor? If not then I think it is awful that someone would post this mess without ever dealing personally with said business. Why would someone want to do that. It is like shooting yourself in the foot! ![]() If anyone could please explain this, I would appreciate it. I am new here and one of my reasons for looking around on this forum was it get a feel for some products and where to get the best deal on these products. If someone has gotten a raw deal with this distributor, then say so. Thanks, Tessa |

| wow! This just goes to show that sometimes we get going and someone has to step in and wave the flag! I don't think that this thread was started to be a battle of who is the better seller. I think that the point is we all love the CC systems. By it from whom ever you choose to buy it from, take it home and ENJOY IT! A dollar is a dollar. You can spend it in about two seconds anyway. Life is too short for all of this pettiness! Love ya all!

| CC makes a Black on Black... Its awesome! A friend of mine uses it on her black Poodle... It keeps her from Fading. As far as the Vender issue is concerned... I just choose to do business with what I consider to be honest people. initially I was only offering a bit of feedback from a customers perspective to the seller. I wanted her to know how a few of her listings appeared to me. She chose to argue with me, a member of the buying public... Her bad in my opinion.. (I would never argue with a prospective client or customer) In the future I would try to be a bit more composed and prepared to handle questions and objections from your customers. Its part of doing business. As for the Product.... BUY BUY BUY!!! I love it!!! Its wonderful! No matter where you buy it from!

| Let me correct you, yet again. I did not chose to argue with you. I chose to show you fact after fact, statements refuting your liable statements against me and about my company. How is my business dishonest when I have the backing of the company you say I'm lying about? How is my business dishonest when I showed you in black and white what Chris Christensen states in their own suggested retail selling price? Have you done your research yet on the different between suggested retail price and the price in which business decide to sell products for? Just like you chose to dodge my points, you have also chosen to dodge Tessa's points and her questions to you. Were you scammed by my business? Did you order something from me and not get it? Did you order something from me and receive a different product/item? What IS your experience with my business exactly except to make liable statements against it? Needless to say, despite your immaturity on this board, and lack of an apology which you certainly owe me, many yorkietalk.com posters have continued to purchase items from me. So actually, maybe I should be thanking you for constantly feeling the need to bring my business up on this board. | Kathryn, I am still a little confused. I am trying to find a distributor of this product. You stated in your above post that originally you wanted to let her know how a few of her listings appeared to you. People should give feedback, but I also believe that people should take responsibility for what they say. I'm sure I am not the only one that would love to find great prices on this stuff. So, my questions to you now are, after all that has been said and done in this thread (real prices being posted, calls to CC, etc.), do you feel that you may have misjudged her and her company? And have you purchased from this distributer before? If you do feel you might have spoken too soon, that's ok we all do that from time to time. I just want some honest info. I would hate to see someone hurt (or their business). Thanks. Tessa |
