| Nylabone Morning everyone! I got a small plain, smooth nylabone as a gift from someone for Maggie. She loves it. She is a rescue an its the only toy other than her kong that she plays with. But, i read reviews online that they are not good for dogs because for agressive chewers small peices of plastic can come off and hurt their tummy. What is a good alternative bone that your babies love? Not something edible, and she likes the bone shape.

| I read about that too and it did worry me a little. Teddy's grandpa got him one and he loves it. I watch him every time he plays with it just in case. I don't know of many alternatives besides the kong because those are the only two "chew" toys my little one has. So I'd love to hear others feedback too |

| Everything I say comes with the disclaimer that I don't know much, but here goes! I have a crazy chewer, and I just keep an eye on those toys and pull off any loose pieces. Let's face it, toys that are too hard can break teeth or splinter, toys that are to soft can be ingested, and for each dog the "sweet spot" would be different. Let the pup enjoy the toy and monitor it for excessive wear.

| I thought the idea of the nylabone was for it to get 'bristley' from chewing. Then the bristles act like dental floss and clean the teeth. My baby's teeth never made a dent in the nylabone. |

| Teddy chews all the time and he loves his nylabone. I only bought it a few weeks ago so I'm not sure how sturdy they are but there are no signs of wear and tear at the minute and he chews on it almost constantly. I think supervision is key with any toys/chewy. |

| Aoki is a aggressive chewer as well. Those nylabone products stand no chance. |

| Brody loves his Nylabone. We are always around when he chews it, but it keeps him quiet & helps his teeth. |
