It has openings so she can go pee and poop if she needs to, but it does keep her dry on the covered areas. I call this her Top Gun outfit lol. I tried a traditional hooded raincoat and she doesn't like the hood. This one works great for us.

Sachi looks so precious in her rain gear. I am really happy with the quality of Hurrta's products. Both Katie's raincoat and waterproof fleece jackets keep her dry, and the jacket keeps her warm. I love the zipper up the back in the jacket and the fact that both keep her belly dry, too.

When I was looking for a raincoat, I bought it at Eurodog Designs. I also bought a spare fleece jacket because I love it so much. I paid $40 for each of them, since Katja was running a great sale last month on a few things. Her Facebook page shows that she has sales often. One of the reasons why I bought Hurrta is because they are warm, wind proof, and weatherproof, and they are made in Finland. Katie loves her walks, and we walk great distances, even in 20 degree weather. If there isn't a sale, if you use code Havanese10, you will get 10% off non sale items. Katja knows Katie's s a Yorkie, but I still use that code. I still use my many matching Buddy Belt leashes, but I bought a hands free Hurrrta leash, and although it's much heavier than I'm used to, it's great because it's reflective at night, and I can hold a flashlight in the hand I'm holding Katie's leash.

He is 3.5 lbs. girth is 11", neck is 7.5". He is so small sometimes lol I love that he would be covered . . . It would keep him dry. Especially that his coat is getting long. I am not sure how much room do you leave for the hair lol Who's Facebook page?

I measured the way they told me girth is 11" . . length is 9" . . .neck is 8.5-9" . . .leg length is 4"

I think the 8S would work for Galen. Sachi is 4.5 lbs and 10 inches long, she has the 10S.
