| boot suggestions for a small Yorkie Hi My Yorkie is 6 lbs, long and thin. Her legs are thin her feet are small. I have purchased about 8 sets of winter boots for her in the past 2 years since we have had her. She is 8 yrs and rescued from a puppymill after 6 years of abuse. She has arthritis and cannot walk without limping in the winter. I have tried the disposable boots and they fall off as she walks. I have also bought the foot salve and she eats it off her feet. So far nothing works, We live in NYC in an apartment building and she has to go out at least 3 times per day during the colder months. She is paper trained for the snow days. I am not looking forward to winter. HELP!!! |

| Hi! I would love to help you! How come the disposable boots are falling off? I wouldn't necessarily recommend them for a dog with arthritis though as they aren't going to keep her very warm. Have you tried a boot like this: Pink Waterproof Winter Dog Booties They come in a size small enough to fit your little one. I have some other options as well. You can PM me. I also offer discounts for YT members

| Baby, it's cold outside! Love your site, Karen. I am looking for boots for my. 3 pound yorkie. It is bitterly cold in Ohio right now and he came inside this morning crying because his feet were so cold! There are so many choices that it is overwhelming! Can you make one or two recommendations? He has really small feet—not even 1.5 inches wide!

| I was thinking about getting my puppy some muttluks fleece lined boots for the snow. It seems like he likes to go out and do his business and hustle back in so maybe I won't need them? |

in a size 1. They have a warm fleece interior. I am a little concerned that your dog may be too little to fit them but they are certainly worth a try. They will keep your dog warmer than the Pawz boots but at least with the Pawz boots, there will be some protection. You can always return what doesn't fit properly.
