| Donating YT 4000 Club Member | That's cute, but it looks so low. I think I would like one that carried the pup a bit higher up on my body so I could keep an arm under her.

| I bought the mesh sling, I'll post when I get it. Rhetts_mama- The mesh sling I ended up buying is adjustable, so I think I'll be able to wear it higher up. |

| Yorkie Haven Rescue is selling cross body carriers and I picked one up at the Houston dog show. Rosie loves hers. I think.it must be super comfortable for her. It's comfy for me too.

| I'll post after I get the bag and have tried it. Carmeow- I wanted the YHR bag, but $70-80 is pretty expensive and I don't want to spend so much until Lola is closer to fully grown and is ok with being in a bag. |

| The mesh sling came today, I chose black. The quality is better than I expected, it's not just sports jersey mesh, it has this foamy netty stuff attached to the mesh (idk how to describe it). It's also pretty opaque. I ordered a medium and Lola fits well in it. I wouldn't buy it for a dog much bigger than her, even though the sling comes in bigger sizes. I definitely need to put something stiff in the bottom and pad the shoulder strap. Overall I'm happy with it and it was worth the money, but I'd like to get something better. I'll post pictures and write more after I've used it a bit. |

| I have the Fundle. Well, I have a lot of bags but I really like the fundle. I have to put a little blanket on the bottom. I am the same height as you, and this fits me well. It is comfortable and my little girl is as well. It is soft sided of course, so it won't stand up on it's own. That doesn't bother me, if I need that type of bag I will switch to something else. (I keep a couple in the trunk) |

| I went to dollar tree to find something to put in the bottom because cardboard wasn't good enough. I ended up getting a gardening knee pad. It's a bit too long so I cut it down and put some of the scrap foam in the handle cut out. It's much better now, the foam gives it support without being too hard and uncomfortable. Bulk Garden Collection Foam Kneeling Pads, 6½x15¼" at DollarTree.com I haven't been able to get a decent picture of Lola in the bag. I'm planning on trying the bag tomorrow and hopefully get a decent picture at some point. Here's a close up of the fabric, the yellow behind it is the knee pad. |

I just found this thread by searching sling carriers, as I'm going to a friend of a friend's house in a few weeks, and I want something to be able to put ZoE in & keep her with me. I have a bunch of concealment purse/carriers, but nothing open like this. I liked the airiness of the mesh too. How true to size do they run? ZoE is just under 10lbs, so I was thinking the large, but I don't want her to drown in it, I want her to be able to easily stick her head out.

My poodles were about 12lbs, one was tall and thin and the other was short and muscular, they would have needed a bigger bag. The ebay auctions list the dimensions and there isn't a huge jump between sizes. | |
