| Review Of: Isle of Dogs Silky Coating Shampoo,Conditioner & Brush Spray ok , so i love the shampoo & conditioner.. it smells nice and rinses out easily. it makes oscar's coat soft and shiny.. however , the brush spray has to go..... whoa , the smell is so overpowering and although it does fade some it is still very strong and gives me terrible sinus headache.. the worst is it makes oscar itch real bad.... |

| Thanks for this review! I'm going to try some different grooming products to find the best for Mandie's coat. I'm still trying to find what will make it look its best. I get headaches and migraines from perfumes on strong smelling stuff so I appreciate this review on the scents of the products.

well , the shampoo and conditioner has a very light scent which seems to be fine. i dont know why the brush spray needs such a heavy scent..

| Thanks for the review. Good to know, I'm not fond of the strong scents either.

| Update well , although this product made oscar's coat silky and shiny it made him itch like crazy. i believe it is the heavy amount of perfume in it.. i do not think this would be a good choice for dogs with sensitive skin.. |

| We adopted Wendell as an adult and the first time I put a sweater on him and took him on a long walk, his fur got so matted I was afraid I was going to have to shave him down. But I sprayed him generously with the Isle of Dog and the mats came out easily. I actually like the fragrance and it does just what it says it does. I love it! |

| I finally got my splash and shine and have been using that. Hard to tell how well it works now though as the groomer shaved him on me. I guess did notice though that the finishing spray contains alcohol. Does this bother anyone's pup's skin? Also does the waxiness dissappear with use? I remember a hairstylist telling me once that pantene shampoo contains wax to make our hair shiny but that it builds up. |

| Isle of Dogs Yes..have to agree.... cant stand the smell of the spray and it gives me a thick head too...The shampoo and conditioner are alright but nothing special. Still Minksheen has to be my favorite......even though a strong smell I like it. Biogroom also do a nice sheen spray as do Madan. |

After the first wash I never really had a waxy feel on her fur but I bathe her weekly. Not sure if that makes a difference. Cetearyl alcohol is not a typical alcohol. It is a combination product that is called a fatty alcohol. It is typically used in skin care products.

| I went on their website and was confused on what product to buy. I usually buy shampoo and conditioner for silky coat but the website has other products that sound better. When I contacted Isle of Dogs regarding which product to use for my yorkie, they actually recommended the #10 Evening Primrose Oil Shampoo and the #51 Heavy Management conditioner. They are nice enough to send me samples to try. I can't wait to receive them. |
