Don't worry.. the company stands behind the product very well. Susana used the cross the body strap and it seams her strap may have been defective and gave way. I have been in contact with Jardaden and they are reviewing the design.. at this time we do not know if the bag was defective or the design was questionable. I was very impressed by their response and reviewing the problem. Also remember, Susana's dog is 8 lbs and that may have been a part of the issue of weight on the strap for a period of time. Jaraden does state the weight can be up to 10 lbs. If you have a larger dog and plan on using the strap hands free I would look at the conections -- that is the only issue that I can see. At this time Susana is returning the bag. I used the same bag for a week trip with Remy (5 labs) and I was very happy !! I hope I answered your questions! Let me know if you have any other concerns. Edited to add: I'm very, VERY happy with how cooperative both the company and Lil Sis have been with working with me to try to solve this issue.

I am just following up to see if you were able to fit two fluffs in the bag. I have two fluffs. One is 3.5lbs and the other one is 4lbs. They are 8.5 inches from base of neck to tail, 9 inches from ground to their back and there chest is 10inches. Do you think they will both fit and be comfortable? | |

| so upset that they're no longer making this bag (or any Jaraden bags for that matter). After this dated review, I really really really want one for my little guy...

I did impulse buy a Jaraden Mon Ami (gold) bag when they were selling out. I have never used it, I have another bag that my Jack loves and we always use. Now I have a second baby, Chloe, who is growing bigger than Jack, so if I switch bags I'd want a bag big enough for the 2 of them. I should really put it up for sale. Someone would probably want it. The gold isn't really my color. I thought I'd use it for dress up times, but never have.

| What I noticed is the tether has a hook clip on both ends. It is attached to a d ring in the bottom of the bag. I took the tether off and by unclipping and fed it thorough the d ring.. then you can clip BOTH hooks onto Kaji.. that would be shorter and stronger. Another solution would be to take the tether off... make another out of some shorter stronger fabric using the hooks. 3rd solution.. the bag has zipper pulls on both ends of the top.. they are also removable. You could use one of those in a pinch. |
