Fabric Type: Butterfly Garden Print
Size: Large
Dimensions: 16" L x 10 1/2" H x 5 1/2" W

Features:
Our carrier is made of washable pre-quilted fabric.
On the outside there are 5 pockets, 3 on one side and 2 on the other.
The large pocket has a velcro closure, except in some older bags.
Each end has a window made of pet screening.
The carrier closes with a large plastic zipper across the top.
The straps are approximately 28 inches long.
Inside there is a removable, washable pad and a fabric sleeve with plastic canvas to help firm up the bottom.
There is also a tether with a small leash clip.

Fabric:
We use pre-quilted cotton.
The bags are completely lined and all seams are finished.
The coordinating inner pad is either cotton or pre-quilted on one side and polar fleece on the other.

Care:
The carriers are washable, on the gentle cycle. Hang to dry.
We cannot guarantee the pet screen in the dryer. Inner pad & sleeve are washable & can be machine dried.

There are a few styles left and pricing is reasonable.

I love that bag! Really reasonable price. I don't do a lot of sneaking Gracie into places. She does not enjoy being stuffed into a bag with the windows closed. Yours is great for going places that are not very concerned about a dog being with you. It would be nice if they put the privacy flaps on it for just in case but it is so pretty it really doesn't matter. I have to admit I am a bag collector. I have always loved to buy handbags and now I am the same with bags for my dog!

Hi I am new to your forum and joined last night.
I also would like to buy a bag for my 2 Yorkies 4 and 5 lbs and my Chihuahua 4 lbs. I am looking at the Petote Metro but not sure if I should get the petite or the small and put a blanket in if it is too big. Anybody who has these bags and can help it would be appreciated. I don't know if they can be returned if you buy the wrong size.
I would only be carrying one dog at a time in this bag. My concern is if I got the small bag the Chihuahuas head is much smaller than the yorkie and I am afraid he will jump out and be dangling by his harness.
Any ideas appreciated.

I just ordered a Fundle. I like that it only has one handle. It's like a sling. I'm not into the fancy type carrying bags. And while the KBs seem very practicle, they are a little bit $$$. The Fundle was on sale under $100 and I found an online coupon so I saved even more.

I had ordered another bag online "pet ego boby bag" - and that one was only $60. I bought it from a pet travel site. Anyway, I think I like the Fundle better. I'll check them both out when they arrive and return one of them.

Then again, everybody here speaks so highly of the KBs - there's probably something to it! I'm just a newbie and a cheapy.

ok, I just measured Daisy, she is 10 1/2 inch tall and 14 inches long, but that is from the back of her hear to her tail and she wasn't really cooperating so that's the best I could do. I don't know how true to size the bags are, any suggestions on what size to get? oh and she is 7.8lb

I feel the same way, I would love to have a KB but the problem is the cost, how is the Fundle working out for you?

is this long for a Yorkie, after looking at the pictures of others on here, she seems so long?

I love my fundel...it is great...but there are times when you need a bag. The kb are great. I fell in love with some other brand and it was 3 times the cost so kb are great value for what you get.
Then again, everybody here speaks so highly of the KBs - there's probably something to it! I'm just a newbie and a cheapy.

I know some here have the kb alex...does it have a firm bottom? Or does it sag?? I need a handbag looking carrier that isnt bulky...I have the Sherpa bag which i love, but i find for quick errands its just too bulky

Hi,
I haven't received it yet. I just ordered it. (And I'm picking up my puppy from the breeder next Friday too! So, I don't have her yet either.)

I'll let you know what I think. It looks very convenient. But it doesn't seem to have extra pockets - which the KBs seem to have.

If you're interested in it make sure you do a good internet search. Venders have all sorts of sales and coupons.

I have the KB and love it for quick errands, but the bottom isn't firm and certainly does sag. I can't say it's my favorite bag, I use it because it's so discreet and looks nice. I take Zoe with me everywhere so when I go to the mall or the grocery it needs to be very discreet. She doesn't seem to mind, when I tell her to get in her bag she gets in and lays right down while I zip it up. I wouldn't suggest using it for long periods or if it's going to be hot, I just dont feel she gets enough circulation.

It sags a bit, but it does have a pad, that when not squooshed is about 1inch thick, that goes in the bottom of the bag to give it some shape & stability.

Shown in the pic is the small alex with the bottom pad sticking up so you can see it. The large alex has the same kind of pad, same thickness.
