| The Puppia brand is european made and their measurements and sizes sometimes differ quite a bit from products with American measurements. You can't really tell how one brand will fit by comparing it with another brand. Hopefully the Puppia XS will fit the OP. The Petco brand looks like it is the same type of construction but different material and a few design changes. It's very cute. |

| Hi, I went to petco this morning and saw the harnesses, they are so cute but the xs was still big. I think the petco xs is the same size as the puppia s. Thanks for all the help, I am just going to wait for the xs to arrive. |

| I don't know, I haven't seen the Petco xs harness in person but I know the Puppia xs is quite small. It would only fit a small puppy. |

| I have a feeling I'll be returning the xs. I am going to look in Home goods, TJmax and Marshalls, I have seen harnesses there and didn't buy one because I thought they would be too small. This is what I got, it says red but in the picture shows pink. For 14 bucks and 2 day free shipping I thought it was a great deal, I bet your Oscar would look adorable in it. I like the mesh like material. ![]() |

| Thanks for the link, I found this one at TJmax on clearance for $5, is the camo one, when I got it was too big, I bet it fits now. If only I can remember where I put it. lol The only think that was a little pain in the petunia was getting it on through his head ![]() Puppia Soft Dog Harness Forgot to add, that harness seem very nice, I am going to wait til I get the xs and use what I have now. I love the website, I can spend hours looking at what they have and watching the videos hahaha. Last edited by Sheldonsmom; 03-10-2012 at 10:23 AM. |

| Well, got the xs harness an it is too small around the chest area. I will be returning it, so glad I don;t have to pay for the return. I found the puppia soft harness I got a tjmax for 5 bucks, the one that goes through the head and it fits him great! I am saving the small puppia vest for when he grows. |

So i guess there is a big variance in size between the puppia vest and petco vest. Just like with our clothes i guess. In one brand you take one size in a different brand you have to go up two sizes, lol! | |

| be sure to check at Wallmart, they off and on carry a vest that is just about a duplicate to the Puppia one, I have bought it there for $10.00 and have seen them in black, red, pink and a pink poka dot. I think that harness is the best style for walking you dog if they pull. It's so secure since the velcro is on the back, not under the tummy, plus it has the large easy to use buckle with the two d rings. My dog is about 5 lbs and can still wear the XS. I have four of them now pink, pink poka dot and two in black. I could kick myself though, I just bought the black and brought home two of each size XS and S. I thought the XS was to small and returned them, now I think the S is to big, uggggh. I like the black since it blends with her hair and you do not notice it when she wears it under dresses. I am still on the hunt for an all velcro version, where the velcro is on the back like the Puppia, but also on the back of the neck, if anyone sees that type let me know.

| Oscar's mom, yes, the puppia small is the exact same size as the petco xsmall. The puppia sof harness I got him when we 1st brought him home fits him now, the bad thing is that you have to put it through the neck, the good thing is he wears it alll day long and he doesn't even notice it. Dblain, I have seen some but they were too big, like a large or something. And about returning the wrong one, that sounds like something I would do hahaha Some times I see something really good and don't get it and then I want to kick myself for not buying it. I have a harness like that but both velcro closures are on the front, at 1st it was great but now is a pain. |
