2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | I would go for the Puppia harness with the fleece lining. The other one looks a little to harsh for such a small little guy. xxs or xs to start out with and than wait and see how much bigger he gets before purchasing the next size.

| Maybe a ferret harness? I think they sell them at pet supply stores. Good luck!

| Harness for 8 wk old. Good Luck finding one. BJ is 1 lb. 5 ounces and I went to all pet stores and the harnesses and collars are too big. I really don't need one now because she is too small to walk around and it is cold in Ohio. If you feel you want one I gota satin collar that was adjustable from a company that sells items for show dogs for my first beloved Dee Dee. . Sorry i don't remember the name. It was also suggested I go to the section for cats. Last edited by BJBEVSBABY3; 01-07-2012 at 06:53 PM. Reason: addition |

| I wouldn't invest too much money in harnesses at 8 weeks. Your baby is going to grow quickly over the next 4 weeks and first few months.

| I would NoT use a collar on a pup this tiny as you could cause tracheal damage. When mine were tiny , I used a ferret harness that I bought at Petco & it worked perfect. |

| Harness or Collar for small Yorkies I agree with most of the comments. I hate collars for small dogs. They choke them when they pull. Secondly I don't walk my Yorkie when she is this small, the only reason I was looking was for the car seat I have. You latch the small belt to the catch on the harness so they can't jump out of the car seat. I am in no hurry, too cold to take her in and out now. |

| I would recommend a ferret harness. I would wait until he's his adult weight to invest a ton of money into a better harness. There's no point in spending too much money if he's just going to grow out of it

| Sometimes cat harnesses are made really small so you could try that as well. They sell them at the pet stores.

| Your puppy is very very young and will grow quite a bit. I hope you aren't planning on walking him outdoors yet?
