| I have a kennel that looks just like that made by PetMate (I Think). My baby had his leg caught where the latches are to lock it and he was screaming like crazy, I was so afraid he was going to break his leg trying to free himself before I could help him. It is scary but what are our options? |

| THe crate I have is really made for cats or small dogs. It's also a travel crate. Petco for around $30.00. The wire is much to close together to get teeth around it. (I Hope).

| Cairos had her lower jaw wedged into one of the holes in her crate door. Scared the jeepers out of both of us. I think she learned never to do that again, but I always to make sure to remove the door when it is on the floor for her.

| Here is what I use for mine. I love them, and no problems with getting caught. http://www.angelfire.com/in4/afforda...ackcrates.html You can get single ones, but I have 6 that sleep in crates so I have stackables. I also have them in my motor home for when we go to shows. |

| That is really scary, and nothing I've ever thought about. - browniesmom, I love the first kennel you showed on the site. That looks like a winner. Maybe there should be a thread on sYorkie Safety, and exactly items like these can be posted. And when people come to this thread, they can read all about it. |

| Not sure what the single's cost, I have always bought 2 or 3 packs at a time. You can email the guy that makes them and ask. He can make them any size you want, but I think that he does have a standard size he sells. I like them because the plastic pipes they are made of are to big for the yorkies to get their mouths around, and the poles are placed too close together for them to put their heads through, even a puppy. |
