| Pet Armor I don't plan on switching to this, but I'm wondering what thoughts are on this? Pet Armor I've seen it at Sams and Walmart and there seems to be a lot of buzz about it right now. It claims to have the same active ingredients as Frontline (which is what I use) but for about half the cost. Frontline lost its patent so Pet Armor swooped right in. I think I heard another company has come out with something similar as well. Sentry maybe?? One dog forum has a thread about this where someone posted this: Quote:

| I am leery enough about sticking these chemicals on my dog- there is no way I would risk their health and possibly life, sticking some unknown chemicals on them to save a few bucks- I will continue to get frontline from my vet.

| Wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. If it can be bought at Wal Mart or Sam's that's another reason I wouldn't touch it. I'll stick with my Vet products and be safe.

| front line plus to the best of my knowledge there are two other products out there that claim to be the same as frontline plus. the main objective i here is the price of frontline plus. i have researched these other products and they are the same but i find they are not cheaper in price. i order a 12 month supply from healthy pets .com for small dogs for $112.00 when it is on sale which is yearly. i to refuse to be cheap with a member of my family. thank you for your time ron f. |

| Frontline quit working for me. I think they changed ingredents, as now there isn't an expiration date on it. I've tried Pet Armor and it isn't working either. I'm at my wits end. My babies are suffering, and don't know what to do. I can't seem to find D/earth locally anywhere. |

| Frontline and Pet Armor have the same ingredients. Pet Armor was apparently ordered to stop the sale of this product over copy right infringement. Frontline doesn't have an expiration date because fipronil doesn't expire. Have you tried Advantage or Program?

| Ellie, I haven't tried either. But I will try Advantage next month. I also need some SAFE way of killing fleas in my home. This is the first time in years I've had this problem. Using something by Bayer for the yard. I will give it another round in the yard in 2 more weeks. One dog is constantly scratching. I can't find a flea on him. But the one that isn't scratching, I've been pulling at least 6 a day off her with a flea comb! |
