When you use MinkSheen you don't have to use any detangler or conditioner? My yorkie gets mats if I don't bush 2 or 3 times a day so I have been using my salon product conditioner on him and it doesn't seem to help the tangling at all. I will def have to try this product! | |

| I use Universal Medicated Shampoo. It is wonderful with their conditioner. This is excellent if there are no skin problems. Also, Dawn Original Dish Liquid is wonderful. This is what they use to clean the wildlife from the oil spills. It cleans the skin and coat and then you can use Universal Shampoo. I also use Tropic Clean Conditioner which is excellent. Petsmart stuff is very commercial and harsh on the skin. |

| You could probably ask your vet to get it for you. Paul Mitchell Pet shampoo and conditioner is wonderful too. |

| From those stores, my choices would be from Petco: Espree or Paul Mitchell. I think Petco still carries both of those brands.

| I'm very happy with Bio-Groom Fluffy Puppy Conditioning Shampoo(the second shampoo i tried on him). Bentley is only 4 moths old and I keep his coat trimmed short in the puppy cut. I'm very happy with the results of the shampoo on his coat.

| i have used the Paul mitchel shampoo and it was too strong for my Silky Yorkie that it dried out my baby's hair. I am currently using Pure Paws and i would really reccomend it. |

| I requested a sample of Minksheen after reading this thread. The response I got is below: Unfortunately, we cannot financially support a sample program at the moment. We would love for you to give our Minksheen a try, we have a 30 day money back guarantee on all of our products. So, if you’re not fully satisfied with it, you can send it back to us to get a refund of the purchased price. The Minksheen is highly concentrated, with the dilution being 4 to 1 or 8 to 1, depending on the user’s preference, even our 2oz bottle ($2.95) can go a long ways. Our 16oz bottle for $13.95 will even last longer and is a better buy per ounce. It’s one of our most popular products and I would invite you to give it a try. Thank you for writing and for your interest in our product, Touch of Mink I wasn't happy, but decided to order the $2.95 sample bottle. When I went to place my order, the shipping charge was $10.12!!!! Needless to say, they can keep it! I can't believe they will send free samples to some people, but not to others. BAD BUSINESS if you ask me |

| I have a Shorkie Tzu (Yorkie s**t-Tzu Mix) And she has the silly yorkie coat and I have been using baby shampoo (she is a 2 month old puppy) and i think its drying her out too much since i HAVE to bath her since she's into everything and plays hard! (Making her a stinky girl) anyway is there a shampoo i can use that will help her flakes and make her coat shiny? And she's on the best food thats all natural that the Vet recommended and her hair is really starting to get long.. |
