| Need a gate for exterior door ASAP!!! Uni likes to suntan outside our shop on the sidewalk, no problem. Well a few days ago I looked out and she wasn't there. I thought maybe she took herself out to pee. She was suntanning out in the middle of the parking lot!!! So need to find a gate to keep her inside. I like to keep the door open during the day for fresh air. I was thinking something like this, but less ugly. Cat Dog Pet Extra Wide Gate & Door w/ Extensions NEW - eBay (item 280628003400 end time Feb-19-11 16:03:13 PST) Anyone have any suggestions or have used anything like it? It has to fit the door which is 36" wide, and have a easy opening for people to go through. Also has to be easy to remove, as the front door won't close if it is in place. I have seen at a pet boutique before an iron gate in the shape of a squared U, so it could be left in place when the door was closed. Any thoughts on where I could get something like that.

| I have this one and I love it! If you look at the you can see how you can position it different ways, including the U-shape you talked about. It's made of metal so it has a little weight to keep it sturdy, but it's light enough to move and set up easily. It's good sized but the rods are only about 2" apart so it keeps are little ones safely contained. The latch is easy to reach at the top - it just lifts up to release and the lowers to relatch. AND the best part is that Petsmart has it on sale for a really good price right now. Sorry - I know I must sound like a salesperson! But I've had mine for a couple of years and it's one of the best investments I've ever made. Good luck in your search! Bonny

| How about something like this.... Walmart.com: The First Years - Everywhere Gate: Health & Safety It's clear so you can still see out of it and it is easy to open and can be moved easily as well. I have this gate except mine isn't clear as they didn't have that option when I bought it years ago. I really love it. It is so easy to use, it locks and you can pressure mount it or mount it to the wall for something more permanent. I don't know if Uni is a climber if so you might want to take that into consideration. They can't climb though with this gate. Or here is a metal gate that is easy to open and can be moved... Summer Infant Decorative Extra Tall Baby Gate, 6' - Walmart.com Here is another gate.... Dream Baby Hallway Gate, Black - Walmart.com Or if you want one that you can arrange yourself here is one for that as well... http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...ndingMethod=rr
