| PPE Pets store - Friday specials I was looking for a carrier to put around my neck or shoulder and came across 2 of them at this site. Has anyone tried either of them. Which one would be more comfortable on long walks??? Outward Hound Sling-Go-Pet (Hangs over one shoulder) or Outward Hound Pet-a-roo carrier I wish I had never learned that this site was out there! I'm going nuts over some of the cheaper stuff.....each week!! Thanks!

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | I have the Outward Hound Sling, and I love it. After awhile though, even a 4 lb dog seems heavy!

| Betty Boop weighs 5.4 lbs. I can imagine 5.4 lbs would eventually feel like 20 lbs! I thought I would strap it on the dh, though. The front carrier seems like the weight would be more evenly distributed (centered). I just don't know what to do!

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Well, when Sapphire gets heavy, I just switch shoulders! I haven't seen the front pouch, so I can't tell you which is better, but I do like the one I have, and she is very comfortable in it.

| I'll let you know how I like it. Did you have a pattern or did you just put it together on your own?

| PPE Pets store - Friday specials I also have the Outward Hound sling. My Roxie weighs about 6 pounds and after a while you really need to either switch shoulders or set her down. I am going to look into either making or purchasing some type of padding to put on the strap (it is not padded at all where it contacts your shoulder). I was thinking maybe one of those pads you put on a seat belt might be just the ticket....what does the other sling owner think? pinkb |

| I just received my Outward Hound courier style carrier and absolutely love it!! It has a padded shoulder strap, is very chic & was only about $22.00. I ordered it on Friday and got it on Tuesday. I am very impresses and would recommend this item to the YT members. |

| I just received Betty Boop's sling. She absolutely loved it when I put her in it. She didn't move at all and just looked so comfortable. As a matter of fact, it was also comfortable for me. I have existing neck and shoulder problems, but it didn't bother them at all. I'm very happy with it.

| I use a jellly bean baby sling and ella loves laying in it like a baby. Plus I can sneak her in stores with me and no one even bothers me. |

I really didn't need anything "ELSE" pulling me forward. I already have 2 puppies in the front that sit in a sling and are heavier than I would like! I really do like the sling style, although mine doesn't have the padded shoulder.
