For some reason, the pictures did not attach. Trying again. You can see how pretty the cream with gold sheen coloring is in the indoor pictures. Quality is unbelievable and I still can't believe it is machine washable and $200 less than the Petote Metro.

thank you. She is a Shetland Sheepdog, a very small one (but insize for dog shows). A similar carrier for a yorkie would probably not even need to be custom cut and would be even cheaper. You could just choose the fabrics and trim and make any other changes you wanted for your special pooch. It is so lightweight!! Only 2.5 lbs which is lighter than any other pet carrier of similar size on the market. Soon the moderator should approve the link I posted, which shows video of Nars getting into her bag and shopping with me at the Gap. I had Celltei make the side door much larger than the original design so that we could use the side as an entrance/exit. I didn't want Nars to only be able to go in and out the top - not very convenient. Just love this custom pet carrier; Angie and her team really outdid themselves on this one.

YUP! I was 3rd st Promenade!! We also took her to Santa Monica Place (the piccie of us sitting at the casual dining area is from there). So many places to go in So Cal where you can walk with your dog, then when you see a shop or restaurant you want to go into, or time for the movies.... dog goes into bag! I don't have to go back to the car or worry about it getting hot or cold in the car since my dog is with me all the time. Some places do allow you to eat with your dog but you have to TIE them to the outside railing. I'm not about to do that with a valuable dog!

That is so cool DvshAngl!! Some of NARS' fav places are The Grove (they allow dogs to walk in the Grove shopping area, but put them into your carrier inside the stores). The Farmer's Market area your pup can peek their head out of their bag and sit on the chair at tables but they have to be inside a bag. We also like going to Century City mall (totally dog friendly except certain stores, again the carrier is handy!). The Americana in Glendale and Pasadena Old Town are also way cool, and they have a film series in the summertime where we sit at Il Fornaio outside dining and have Italian food with our dog, and watch a classic movie on the screen from the courtyard! I bet Kaji enjoys all those places too!

| So NalasMom, now that you've had the bag for a while... What do you think of it? I carry my two in my large KB Alex bag, but I find the straps to get quite uncomfortable when I carry them for too long. I love the Metro and DH has said we can eventually get it once my other two bags wear out. It is a tiny bit smaller than my KB, but I think they would both fit snugly for short periods of time. How has this bag stood the test of time? Side note: I just noticed you're from Kent. My grandparents live there and we are there all the time. It's cool to see people on here that are close to us

You may not need to wait to get your new bag; they are much much more affordable now. For the last two months, Petote metro comes in a bunch of new fabric designs and they start at only $90. The larger size is only $130. They are much lighter weight than the leather ones. They come in white with tan trim, Red, blue, Black. Check out the Petote website - that is the only place selling them right now. Unfortunately the top zipper still goes the wrong way for me and I want matching mesh, not that sporty black mesh, and I want flaps that completely cover and other features. But for many who couldn't afford or didn't want a un-washable leather carrier, options arise now!
