I really want this bag, but they only have it in small, I need the x-small or petite. What a bummer, DH even said, go for it. Guess I'll have to keep looking.

ask ryan (RDB911) hes able to get really good deals on this bag. better than i got. he just doesnt have this color, but theres lots of pretty colors it comes in.

I really like that the straps are wider and flat so its way more comfy on your shoulders than thin strapped carriers or round straps... the only thing i would change about this bag is i would like the peep hole a little bigger. my pup always has a top knot and she doesnt like to stick her head thru bc it pulls her hair when she tries. otherwise the bags great.

HI, THANK YOU so much for posting all of those piccies of your new Petote!
I want to get the large size one, but had a question - does the zipper on the top zip around completely so the dog cannot get out? Also, the hole where the head pops out - it appears that the flap is just snapped down, with no zipper mesh under it - is this the case or is there zipper mesh under it? Thank you, it is so hard to find any info about this bag or any piccies, and such a large purchase I don't want to buy it without knowing basic stuff!

i had the same prob trying to find pictures or more info on the bag. which is why i posted so many. i can give u more if u want. just let me know what angle you need.

yes the top does zip up completely so they dont jump out and the zip up part is also mesh so they have plenty of ventilation.

there is a mesh window on both sides. that small black square is the mesh... there is a snap down window that rolls up on one side, but i think the large size both sides can roll up bc it says large size has ability to carry two pups. not sure though. mine only rolls up on one end...

So have been searching for best price on that. Also, I've had two custom made Celltei bags made for my previous dog, and those were great so I gave Angie the specs I want and am waiting to hear back. Not sure which one to get just yet! This is actually for a very tiny sheltie (little Lassie dog), which is why I need the large. Best to you, hope you and Nala are enjoying your Metro tote!!

Oh and I don't have a scale but the bag itself is not heavy empty. I would say about 1-1.5 lb?? My dog is the one that makes it heavy. Haha..

I have the small size though which is actually really big. I couldn't imagine having to carry anything any bigger than that. Did u want a large to carry 2 dogs?

I just went to see those piccies of Gennie's. You are right the "small" is BIG. I found a duffle bag at the store that I measured at 20" and it was HUGE. I don't think I need something that big.

But, I just realized that the metro tote's mesh on top does not zip up the way I want it to. I want the zipper to go the other way, so that when I hold it on my right shoulder I can unzip it at the front corner, my dog likes to put her face out the top of totes, not through the window. Also, I don't like that the flap doesn't cover the entire mesh part. The mesh is black and very noticeable. I would prefer the mesh match the color of the bag and the flap cover it completely.

I think I am going to have Angie make me another custom made tote from Celltei, something very much like the metro but in the exact colors and fabrics I want, and with all the accessories. I have two custom totes from her for my previous Champion dog, and I want this one personalized with my new dog's show name on it. Angie did this for me in the past and it worked out great.

ya i noticed all of the things u said about it too. i was thinking too they shoulda made the mesh the same color as the bag, but its ok. the mesh is a thicker mesh and its not very see through. the black color bag is very discreet, but i really wanted the white color. the windows aren't that big to notice theres a dog inside... i havent had it long but no one has noticed her. i too wanted roll down flaps like the kwigy bo alex has... petote has some like that, but i just love the style and look of this one. and i also thought it should zip the other direction, but oh well. i guess u could hold it on the other shoulder and let her peep out the top... overall its the best dog bag i have. hahaha... well good luck w your custom bag...
